Despite Paying For It Months Ago They Were Overbooked

After travelling all day we arrived and were told they had no room for us. They packed us off in a taxi to their sister overspill hotel which was set in the middle of no-where with no shops (you couldnt even purchase a bottle of water), no restaurants, no entertainment and no other human beings around! We had no say about it, the receptionist was rude and didnt care, reckoned management were off duty and despite travelling with On The Beach they just said that everywhere was full and nothing could be done about it.

The new hotel was very quite with only people who were in the same boat as us and one family who asked to be moved from Cay Beach Sun because their kids hair had turned green for the pool.

The receptionist at Cay Beach Sun said that we would be upgraded to All Inclusive (probably because there was no-where you could eat) but in fact the hotel just provided breakfast (which was nice) and an evening meal (which the sight put you off so we didnt bother). They did however promise to pay our taxi backwards and forwards to Playa Blanca.

Thank god there was a pool at the new place because we would never had got a sunbed round the pool in Cay Beach Sun by the time we had got up and taxi to the hotel.

WE WILL NEVER GO TO LANZOROTE AGAIN OR CAY BEACH SUN AND WILL NEVER GO THROUGH ON THE BEACH TRAVEL AGENTS becaue of our experience and the way we were treated. Dont waste your money because you could end up in the middle of no-where at a hotel you did not choose to stay at in an area where there were no living persons!

To Be Improved

The hotel is small, reception was small, plenty of apartments which would be comfortable for 3 at a max not 4! The place smelt of mould and the entertainment was appauling. A toddler disco was the highlight of the evening until after 9.30pm and then the polish entertainment team would put on nappies and behave as toddlers. Apartment doors don't shut although the kitchen area was nice and SMALL. The drain in the bathroom needed repairs like most things around the hotel-looked nice but not our cup of tea. The staff would joke if we asked for all inclusive drinks asking not to have too much-so why did we go all in when simply the staff were unsure to serve you? Not enough self service machine for water, drinks. The facilities were understaffed and frowned upon. However, to end on a happy note the maids were pleasant something the waiters need to improve on is courtesy and good manners. Overall holiday-average we made it super by going to other hotels for entertainment and pleasantries.

“pleasant Hotel, Friendly And Comfortable”

Very good and friendly place. Guys from cattering are very friendly. Food are very good and always diffrent. For this price hotel for us was perfect. For us it`s the place where we will come back with smile:)))

Polish guys from ITAKA are so happy and friendly. They always will try new things to make your time fun around the hotel!!!

They did a fantastic job and were always friendly and would sit down for a chat if you were happy to encourage them. They also made the activities so much fun and even joined in!!! I would recomend this place for couple and familly:)))

Comfortable appartments, lots of green around, excellent sporting facilities - outside swimming pool, indoor pool, sauna, gym, tennis, ping pong ... - all this for a bargain price.

There is also a Pool Bar where snacks are available, such as burgers, hot dogs and fries. Yes there was only one person serving but you didn`t have to wait too long to be served. Drinks were self service too.

The beach and town is a 10 minute walk down the road. There are supermarkets and also on a Thursday there seems to be a craft market too which was really nice.

You can find all kinds of restaurants, shops and bars along the Playa Blanca boardwalk, and the streets running parallel to it, at the edge of the old town. Another area that’s a must to visit is the recreational port, replete with newly constructed facilities of high quality. It also boasts a new shopping centre.

Playa Blanca has a wide range of hotels surrounded by a flourishing service sector: bars, restaurants, businesses… and one of the best recreational ports in Lanzarote. It is also close to the Papagayo Beaches where white sand and crystalline waters wash lap against the rocks.

Possibly our best holiday ever.

Swietny hotel. Polecamy szczegolnie parom jak calym rodzinom. Wiele atrakcji, dobre jedzenie oraz mila obsluga. Nic dodac nic ujac. :D
