Valley Complex

Stayed here in July 2011 with my husband and 3 teenage children.

Dimitris and his family are lovely, and they were there when you fancied a chat and kept to themselves when you didn't.

Rooms fairly standard, fridge, small 2 ring hob, decent shower and basic beds - but clean and private. Lovely views out to sea and the small garden. Air conditioning was very good too. Only 12 rooms in total, so very quiet location. We had 3 rooms for all 5 of us, so plenty of space.

Fantastic swimming pool, clean and well kept, bar well stocked and snacks available all day. Swimming pool open to everyone, but only a few visitors came while we were there.

Set just outside of the main resort of Paleokastritsa, so not too busy, but very close to shops, a supermarket and plenty of bars within a short walk. On the main bus route from Paleo to Corfu Town, so easy to get around.

We walked all the way to the Monastery (about an hour all downhill, apart from the end) and got a taxi boat back to the nearest bar (La Grotta).

Would definitely go back again, teenagers loved it because there was a beach party at La Grotta every day if they got bored of the pool, and we loved it because it was well placed for exploring by bus or on foot.

Lovely clean resort fantastic food very helpful the Valley Complex is a friendly family run complex this is our 10th year would not go anywhere else, they have become very dear friends more like family. Can never wait for next holiday there, so relaxing great atmosphere great people made many friends who also go back every year. Bad points, not one.
