Cheap And Cheerful... Truth

The reception staff were lovely, the maids friendly, bar staff good, however there were seven of us girls and we stayed in three different rooms, we had no problems in our room but the other girls had to pay 100+euros as they had got some dirt on the towels and bed sheets (which could easily have been washed out)One of my friends cut her foot and we had to pay 15 euros for a bed sheet as her foot leaked a little bit onto that during the night and therefore you have to pay... - just be careful as they are quick to fine you- there is a launderette around the corner where you can have everything washed for 5euros saving a lot of money.. So if this happens to you make sure you do that - cheap way out as they do not give you a warning of such silly little fines; I could understand if our group was messy and loud but we were none of the above, each morning we awoke to clean our rooms and ensure that we did not leave to much mess laying around.

The pool and bar area was great - chlorine levels were strong but they didnt effect our hair it just tickled at your nose and eyes so be careful if you are sensitive to chlorine but other than that the hygiene was spot on at the area.

At night when you finally arrive home from a night out be warned that you may have other guests of the hotels trying to get into your rooms by rattling on your door handles but they won't get in, we had this problem and became quiet worried.

AIR CON AND SAFE NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE THEY ARE AN EXTRA 60EUROS PER ROOM.

Warning on the air con - I would not advise leaving it on all the time even if you are baking, we left ours on throughout the night and in the morning we woke up with such terrible bad mouths.. so perhaps leave it on for a certain time then turn off as we all came back with colds and feeling rubbish.

The kitchen appliances for a self catered accommodation could have been better, although 2 star it could have had a few more kitchen utensils such as a wooden spoon, chopping board, cutting knife, jug ect..

I would say as a word of warning to not bring your phone along and if you do to leave it safely hidden away in the Safe which is in the reception area in a volt or in your suitcase with a padlock in your room, pick pocketers are around the local area as I am fully aware as my phone was pinched the second day we were there.

Some balcony's are shared, for us we were quite lucky as we had our own individual one but I think some of the guests found it difficult when next to certain guests as they were banging on the windows.

Overall Ekati was a hotel apartment you got what you paid for cheap and that was it, just don't get sucked in with the fines, keep your room tidy and the maid happy!

Just hope your holiday was more successful than ours although we did have some good times too!!

I Stayed In The Ekati For A Week In July 2010 And

I stayed in the Ekati for a week in July 2010 and would definitely recommend it!

It's only a 2* hotel, so its basic, but is very clean and spacious!

The reps were all lovely and not pushy at all with selling trips and tickets!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, about a 2 minute walk from the first bar, and 5 minutes from the main bars, and because it was slightly further back, it felt very safe and was easy to sleep.

We read reviews about the chlorine being too strong in the pool, so were expecting the worst, and we had no problems! The pool area is lovely, and very clean!

It is also a very short walk away from the beach, which is also lovely, and doesnt smell, as we'd heard beforehand!

Overall, if you are going to kavos, stay in the Ekati!

If i was going to go back to kavos, I would definitely go back to the Ekati!

Best week ever :)

What Can I Say Bout This Resort, Have Been To Kavo

what can i say bout this resort, have been to kavos 4 times now and this was by far not the best place to stay, the pool and jacuzzi look good but werent if u spent time in there you and your hair would turn green, the rooms are great with plenty of space, the day staff were good and friendly but janis the night barman was very creepy, spent most his time just trying to chat the women up and a basic perv, def going back to kavos but def not the ekati

The Ekati Apartments Overall Are Under-rated.!! It

The Ekati apartments overall are under-rated.!! It is in an excellent location, not right next to the nightlife so you cant sleep but not miles away. The nightlife was to die for, really good!! would definitely go back again.

It Was A Great Holiday. All In All I'm Going Again

It was a great holiday. All in all I'm going again on the 11th August with my girls woo hoo. But I would always encourage to bring along insect repellent. Hire out quad bikes they are the best. Some of the tour reps were great. It's a must, you can read other peoples views but its also nice to make your own. The food is nice. The beach was excellent and so was the banana boats what a laugh. The clubs I most enjoyed where Snobs, Players Lounge, Fire, Trinity, Limelight (its on the beach), foam parties although they stain you clothes and hurt your eyes and made your hair stink.

There Were Seven Of Us Who Stayed At The Ekati Stu

There were seven of us who stayed at the Ekati Studios, two of our groups had brilliant rooms clean, big and bright. One of the groups were placed on the bottom floor, it was dark and felt damp, it had no view just a wall but it wasn't too bad as we didn't spend hardly any time in are rooms only to sleep.

I do recommend renting a fan as it does get really hot in the rooms and there is no air con. The pool area was standard there was always sun beds. The staff were friendly the beach was nice with plenty to do. One thing you must do when visiting Kavos is rent out quads. Overall we all had an amazing holiday Kavos is an excellent place to go!

The Reps At Ekati Studios In Kavos, Although Ruthl

The Reps at Ekati Studios in Kavos, although ruthless, they were great. Some of them were a bit fake and really up themselves, but they were nice enough!

We had a really fab holiday. We would go back if we got a good enough deal again. Maybe in higher season though. We would probably go elsewhere first.

Make sure you take loads of mosquito repellent!! They are really bad out there, and some people got bitten really badly!! I had loads of repellent and didn't get bitten, but some people don't!

We Stayed At The Ekati Studios For 10 Days Last Ju

We stayed at the Ekati Studios for 10 days last July. All in all it was a brillent holiday and we met some fab people out there. The bars and clubs were great and I'd recommend Rockys Bar and the foam partys. Limelight was also real good.

The hotel wasn't up to scratch at all and the toilet and shower were proper minging but its not as if you stay in there all day! Good restraunt next door. We stayed in the main part of the hotel by the pool at the top, but not sure what the other parts of the hotel where like, as the other parts were separated from it! I would recommend this hotel, but wouldn't go back again.
