Elenite, Royal Park Hotel

August 2010, Me and my family have just come back from 2 weeks in Royal Park hotel Elenite and it was fantastic. The hotel was spotless and the cleaners worked constantly form early morning to late at night. The food was lovely lots of choice and most of it was cooked in front of you from fresh, if you didnt want to eat in the resturant you could get something from the poolside (burgers) which were also lovely. Nobody in our party had any sickness due to the food which was a worry before we went after reading all the bad reviews about the food. The staff were friendly and helpful in all parts of the hotel. The beach, pool and water park were equally as clean and you could always get a sunbed (had to pay for them in the water park though). You were able to use the facilities in all the Elenite village hotels and villas for drinks as well as your own. There were dance shows put on in the evening by the animation team in a big amhitheatre and in the animation hall and one night a week there was entertainment on the beach. The weather was beautiful and this was a very relaxing holiday i would really recommend this holiday to people who just want to chill out and not do too much. Me and my family had a fantastic time and couldnt fault it in any way, If you have booked to go to Elenite and are worried about all the bad reviews, as we were, please dont be it is really lovely place.

the biggest problem of all: we found bed bugs. a whole colony. we were wondering why all the bed sheets are filled with old stains. then we found out. from all the bugs that were splashed on them. video proof here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqVngdq-1Dg

when it rained, the water found its way into our room through the door and made a big wet circle on the carpet.

awful noise. i couldn't sleep till 2 am in some nights. they drag around the steel chairs on the lobby terraces right under the rooms. terrible noise.

the furniture is in bad shape, the upholstery is dirty and stained.

there are not enough seats in the restaurant. we always had to wait or fight to get a chair/table.

same story with the pool chairs/umbrellas. always a problem to get one. plus half of the umbrellas cant be opened, or they are ripped.

the staff at the front desk are rude and they practically avoid talking to you. they act like they don't see you.

there is no parking belonging to the hotel. there is a free area that is used as a parking, outside the hotel's yard, where the security guys run their business, charging you with 10 euro to let you park there.

the food sucks. and there's always a fight when they bring some better stuff, like melon or croissants.

the beach is very small and crowded.

the only thing we liked was the aqua park.

actually, the hotel itself and the walking and entertainment areas are very well made, but the administration and the staff are ruining everything.

i would not go back there, even if they paid me to go.

i would never go back to bugaria full of russians and all rude royal park gave evry one food poisoning my daughter was on a drip for a week needs a lot of repair work doing to the hotel very dangerous for little ones and lots of broken tiles on all floors food rubbish health and saftey would have a field day there electric cables etc exposed if you book to go to elinte in bulgaria change it now you will have a hol from hell i mean it we saved all year for this hol and it was the worst place we have ever been no wonder first choice dumped it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! take note the reviews are true !!

me and my family have just come back from a 2 week stay at the royal park hotel all 18 of us were very disapointed . the food was disgraceful raw n not edable . the staff had no time for english guests nothing to do than go to the beach . it wasnt alinclusive as there was nothing to eat from evening meal until 8.30 next day not even a snack bar that you could buy from we were buying sandwiches from the hotels small shop . the medical center ripped my family off my partner got stung in the sea from a dragon fish it cost him £200 pounds english cash to be seen even though we were told treetment was free it was a holiday from hell and will never return . we put a complaint in to our balkon rep but he seemed not interested please please stay away from this hotel they are building a extension called royal castle they should be using the money to repair royal park .

we went 2005 & 2007 both times were brilliant. food, room, staff & hotel overall its 100% gr8 we are going with other family next year 2011 there is plenty to do & places to go like nessabar & sunny beach the markets are great too its very cheap too. try & learn some of the language they like that (molya means- please & your welcome) blaga-dare-re a means thank you)we would give 5 star rating for this hotel. sharon crane.

me and my family of a party of 7 went to the royal park hotel in 2007 i woulnt recommend thid hotel for any member of the public, it was a terrible experince we all had food poisening and we were all reduced to eating in a shack about half a mile away from the hotel.

the staff was never ahppy and always unclean. they we're filming a disgusting film on the balcony of the hotel with all the little children around. they had cut all the fingers out of the cleaning gloves never going to go back there agin

went to Elenite, Royal Park Hotel 1 yr ago wi my partner and my daughter would never go back staff we ignorant. rep were useless food wasnt up to much unless u like your food half cooked spent our whole week on the beach as thats all there was really to do went into sunny beach stayed for 10 mins and have to leave because there was too many people trying to pick pocket us an elderly couple who stayed in the hotel got the purse with all there money stolen police were useless didnt care

Me, my family and a couple of mates whent on this 'so said' luxury Royal Park Hotel. When we arrived we seen how beuitiful it looked until we got into our very 1st day. Every 5 or so hours there would be major power cuts which could last for hours. One boy fell down the stairs as the hallways was pitch black.

I do not reccomend this to anybody who looks for good food.

we went to elenite in june 07 to royal park in a party of 7 we loved our holiday and the hotel the staff were lovely the room were clean and the food was good the first choice staff were helpfully and entertained us in every way we are looking to book again in 2010 as our holiday was lovely i recommend anyone to go to royal park
