Esprit's Magical Santa lapland - Waskooli Chalet

I have to say that Espirit is one of the worst companies you could possibly use - they might be ok if everything goes to plan, but God help you if there are any hiccups! Our tickets were never sent out to us in time, which caused chaos; Espirit chartered an Easyjet flight for our holiday; this was not revealed till we paid in full. I wouldn't use a company which charters with Easyjet, especially not at this level of cost! Our departure airport was changed on the morning of our flight, so we were transferred by coach from one airport to another. Then our flight was delayed for 36+ hours (!!!!) and there wasn't an Espirit rep to be found anywhere. We tried calling their office; the staff were picking up and immediately hanging up the phones. We have had an offer to have our holiday refunded, but only after we had to issue a County Court Summons!!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

My advice would be not to touch this company at all. Terrible service, and the will rip you off for thousands if they have the opportunity. We booked, but wanted to make a late change to the booking, by adding another person. We were told this was not possible, even though they had availability, and the only way to make the amendment would be to be to cancel the original booking, pay 60% !! of that original cost, and then re-book and full price for the new booking !. Wow what a magical and amazing place and thats just the cabin. I could ramble on for days on end but to cut a long story short there was 2 adults and my 5 very excited children on this trip you have to book this we had reindeer outside the cabin (sunday morning) we had the man himself walking past the cabin (santa if you are a disbeliever) wishing the whole family merry christmas and i could go on and on forever. If you do something once in your life for your children then book Waskooli Chalet, Esprit's Magical Santa Lapland - you will never forget this and i am an adult of 36 years of age we will be returning this year as well so ye ha

We too stayed at the Esprit's Magical Santa Lapland - Waskooli Chalet (twice) and agree with everything written before. I would thoroughly recommend the Esprit company and as said before, the chalet; if you've enough people wanting to come along. What may seem a more expensive option to begin with is well worth it in the long run - it really is completely fully inclusive (right down to your socks!) and we only spent money on Christmas presents.

I would thoroughly recommend this once in a lifetime trip for any family and if you can get 8-10 of you together, the Waskooli chalet should be high on your potential places to stay. Well done Esprit.
