Having bought a new iPhone 5s I decided to insure it. I was going to try Apple Care but it was really expensive so decided to shop around on line. It's a bit of a minefield but after 30 minutes or so I have just found Why Warranties  insurance and was amazed to see that it was only £29.99 for the year's insurance cover. I'd never heard of them or seen them advertised but think they must be quite new. They are UK based and they answered a quick email efficiently. Great value and really easy to buy. They even helped me find my IMEI number which you need to set up the insurance. Definitely recommended.

I purchased a warranty from Why Warranties after receiving a leaflet with a discount code with a case I had purchased online. The code gave me a £10 discount which meant it was just £40 to insure my new iPhone for a year (hence the dubious feeling).

Well a month after buying the policy I had a kids/cola/iPhone incident that involved making a claim.

I couldn't have asked for a better service. Turnaround was very quick and phone is like new again.
