Well Groomed Formal Hire, London

Hired six morning suits for a wedding abroad with a 3 week hire period. Having been into Moss Bros and not been impressed with the hard sell and shiny suits, Well Groomed was a welcome surprise. Being outside central London and presumably with lower overheads, they can concentrate on offering genuinely good value for money, and exceptional service. All staff were very friendly and professional. We found a suit we really liked from a wide selection, and the fitting process (for 6 people - some in London and some in Australia) was painless.

The manager was able to offer us a very competitive deal, given the extended hire requirement. All suits were delivered as expected (correct sizes, good quality, well packaged). In the end we elected to post the suits back and Well Groomed were very understanding when the courier messed up and the suits arrive late.

All in all, I couldn't rate these guys more highly, and will (and have) recommended them to my friends.

This was my second son in law to get married. The first one used M.B to hire his suits. After recommendation, we approached Well Groomed. My what a difference. The shop was well laid out, all styles of suits for any occasion, cubby holes of different cravats, what ever colour you wanted. Ties, shirts cuff links. We were allowed to browse, then the staff came to assist us. They were polite asked what we wanted, measured us. Then found suits in our sizes to try for fit, shirts the same. Then assisted in choosing cravats. Nothing was too much for them, so much better than the staff in M.B. We were given a day to go for our final fitting of our suits we hired. One pair of trousers needed changing. This was no problem to them and they were exchanged and ready for when we picked them up.

The service we received was exceptional, they were friendly polite and nothing was too much for them. I will not hesitate to recommend these people to others. Thank you for helping to make my daughters wedding day a success.

Well, what can I say, it all started at a wedding show - Forty Hall where I saw Well Groomed, and as we walked around, a dress stall holder also recommended Well Groomed. Their knowledge on suits and combinations was very good, and they also gave us a few ideas which we had not thought of. We went to their shop where I got to try on the suit we liked. We got a quote as well which we later compared with other suit shops, and to be honest, we liked the price, quality and customer service from Well Groomed. As for the doughnuts, well, my best man and I were lucky, or some may say unlucky to go to the shop on a Saturday to get measured, and unknown to us, they hold a doughnut eating race when the shop gets quiet. How could we refuse, but sadly, we couldnt beat the quickest time. Yes, I would recommend Well Groomed !

My partner and I visited a few hire shops in North London and our main difficulty was that as my groomsmen were dotted all over the place i.e. Manchester, Stoke and Newcastle we needed to find a store that could accommodate us. We didn't want to go to the usual High Street shops - mainly due to the bad reviews so when we visited Well Groomed and found out that they had a network of shops across the country we knew had struck gold!

They guys immediately made us feel welcome and made us feel at ease about kitting out the groomsmen - nothing was a hassle. We selected our suits, sorted the waistcoats and colour matched the cravats - all in one visit. It was so easy!

Wedding done, all suits were delivered to the right stores to the right people at the right time - no problems. And no re-measures!

This store wasn't local to me and the only reason I came to Well Groomed was because of the reviews. I live about an hour away and it was well worth the drive! As soon as my partner and I walked into Well Groomed we were made to feel so welcome. We had a quick chat about what I wanted and within 10 minutes I was dressed in tails wearing one of the best waistcoats we had seen in all of the stores we had visited. The colour of the cravat was a prefect match to the bridesmaid dresses and the suit fitted very well. I think the other reviews are right in that one of the benefits of using these guys is that some of my groomsmen live in Birmingham and Somerset and due to their network of stores, even though all of my ordering was done through Well Groomed, my men could go to their local stockist to get measured etc....the system worked really well for us.

My partner and I visited numerous stores for morning suits for me and my groomsmen and Well Groomed were by far the best. It's probably not fair to name the other stores we visited but I have to say, the guys at Well Groomed were the most courteous, knowledgable and easily the friendliest group of chaps we met. The store was busy but as we had made an appointment we were seen straight away. We knew our colours so the neckwear was pretty much easily matched but we did have difficulty trying to select the waistcoats - only because of the huge range - I reckon we had about 70 odd styles to choose from!

One of the other reasons for coming here was that they have outlets around the country and within my party of 10, some of the guys live in Manchester, Portsmouth and Newcastle. This was not an issues, I gave the guys at the store contact details and emails were sent to my boys advising of their local stockist and that was it - they went, got measured, had their suits delivered and they all looked great - simple and easy.

A massive Thank You to the guys at Well Groomed - they beat their competition hands down!

Very helpfull staff with excellent customer service. I chose a suit which they said wasn't right and they picked out the perfect choice for me. My Bride was really happy with our overall look. The hire of crevattes and waistcoats was perfect for us. We all felt really good and looked the part too!!

The only drawback with the store is the location. It was difficult to get to especially on a Saturday when football was at home!! Don't let that put you off though as it's well worth the journey :D)

i am not getting married for another 2 years, and can only describe myself as a bit of a groom-zilla, but i emailed well groomed from their website asking about packages, prices etc. the response i got was extremely informative, answered all my questions without trying to push for the first appointment, and the prices quoted for the 10 suits that i'll be needing were amazing!!! i emailed my partner at work and she was amazed by the value for money!! they definitely have my business when the time comes, when the only worry for me will be how to get a groom's party of 10 scattered over 3 counties to the same place at the same time. i cant wait to begin my suit hiring experience with well groomed!! even just with that one email, they have met my needs to the letter and shown me their outstanding service even this far in advance!! Hired six morning suits from Well Groomed, on the back of the several good reviews we'd found on various internet sites.

They are excellent, very patient and obliging when choosing the suits. The suits themselves are of a good quality, and are very well priced (I think the cheapest we found anywhere).

Definitely recommend them to anyone.

My first thought was to rent a shalwani because all asian shalwani's i have seen in the past and present all have that one day feel to it. I cannot explain from the moment I walked into the shop my eyes were glued onto the one of the shop model. it was so west but still keeps its asian look. Finally something i found a wedding tire to me that looked elegant and unique.

My fitting was perfect no need for it to go back to base once done stayed done.

I could not argue with the price because i personally thought i would pay that much if it was beautiful as i saw it the first time.

I would spread the word of wellgroom once i show off my wedding suit.
