Jack Bunney's, Barking, Essex & East London

I hired a total of 10 suits from Jack Bunneys for my wedding, they are extremely high quality suits and we lost count of how many compliments were given about how good they looked.

I had to make a few trips down to the store in Barking and every time the staff were very helpful and took their time in measuring me, the best man and ushers up.

Also, we had a unique situation in which our wedding venue burnt down 2 days before the wedding (not ideal!) so there was a chance that we may have had to move the date and upon explaining this to Jack Bunneys they were very accommodating and did not add to our stress levels at all!

Quite simply, I would highly, highly recommend Jack Bunneys if you are looking to hire a brilliant looking suit for your wedding.

I don' write reviews normally, but i got married in March this year and I had a nightmare trying to get suits for me and my best man, ushers & dads. Everywhere I went was the same old stuff, long baggy jackets with swirly gold shiny waistcoats and big fluffy cravats. We wanted quality tailored suits. We all wear suits everyday for work and we all like our clothes, so we wanted something better than the standard hire stuff (all heavy and tatty) so we went everywhere! Moss, Debenhams, Burtons, Austin Reed and some others, local ones and stuff. They were all no good. I was just about to give up when I googled tailored wedding suits and Jack Bunneys come up, I called them and these guys said exactly the same as what I have been saying, that hire suits should be nicer than usual suits, no worse! anyway, we made a trip up there (about 2 hours) and they were amazing, small little tailors in east London, old fashioned but with some really modern exciting ideas. these guys are honestly the best about. I can't praise them highly enough/

We were really lucky to find this place. We were shocked at just how bad some suit hire places are. We tried loads of places local to us here but there suits and customer service were terrible. I found Jack Bunny on the internet and made an appointment to see them. We had to drive for nearly four hours to get there! but it was well worth it once we arrived, we knew we were in the right place. The quality of there hire suits is WAY better than the ones we had seen & there were really helpful and nice. We felt like we were in safe hands. It was a massive way to go for the boys suits but in the end I think it was worth it. We were married a few weeks ago now and I have some them a letter explaining just how important they were to us and we ca't stop giving them good reviews and telling everyone how much we appreciated Jack Bunneys. If you are getting married and have a fussy groom like me, then try Jack Bunneys they really did the trick for us.

My boyfriend currently lives in Belguim. I am here in London. We got married in Belguim. My boyfriend looked everywhere for a suit in Belguim but could not find anything he liked. I found the Jack Bunney website and sent him a link, he immediatly fell in love with the designs offered. So he flew into London to visit the shop, he found the most incredible wedding suit! It was made for him and fitted perfectly. When we got married in June everyone commented on how well his suit fitted and how they have never seen anything like it. The rest of his family hired suits there too, and that all went off with no problems at all, which we thought was normal at the time, but having read some reviews on here about the larger chains it seems that we were really lucky to have found this shop.

I am cannot speak highly enough of the guys who work there, we were served by a guy who really knew his stuff and was always polite and professional.

If you are getting married soon, please check out this place before going with one of the big boys.

Incredible service. Incredible designs. This gem of a little shop is int he most unexpected place! But once you have entered it is a treasure trove of wonderful designs, which you can't find anywhere else! believe me I and my OH tried! We were looking everywhere for slim fitting wedding suits, these guys seem to specialise in tailored suits, and they have some really unusual designs which you just can't get anywhere else. We travelled over 200 miles just to have a look at the designs they had, when we arrived we thought we made a massive mistake! The area is a bit run down, but as soon as we entered the shop, it was like going back in time to an old fashioned boutique! My finace loved every second of it, he was really interested in all the information the staff seem to know, they knew about current fashions (my finace works in fashion) and they also knew all about old-fashioned, vintage and retro fashion. We could not get enough of it and was asking the guy so many questions! but he happily had an awnser for everything and my OH said he learned more in that hour than he had in the previous 41/2 years at his job in fashion. We have booked 6 hire suits for August (slim fit three piece suits) and my fiance is having an unusual suit made, in a retro style. He is also have a shirt made and tie and bought some really unusual accessories, like these amazing cufflinks! and a clip for his shirt which holds the tie in place, it looks like an antique but it only cost us £20. I was so impressed with this place, I had to write a review for everyone to read. If you are getting marred and you want a suit, just try this place, if you are anything like me and my finace, you will love it.

My family and I have used this place since I was a kid. Most recently they made my wedding suit and hired suits to my brother and uncle. Excellent service on both counts. The area is not what it was but this place remains the same.

If you go there, do some research on where to park first, avoid getting a ticket like I did!

there is absolutely Nothing to dislike like about this company and staff.

no pressure salesmen,you take your time and they listen to your needs and advise accordingly.

I searched high and low for a company that I felt would give honest, straight up help and advice and that much sought after personable touch, Jack Bunneys was that place.

I travelled from South West London to their family run business in the East End and it was well worth the journey.

I rang them on a Friday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for the following day, when I arrived I didn't have much knowledge with regard to wedding suits but from the moment I walked in I felt like I was in safe hands. Peter, Marc & Rob all helped and advised me on various options from suits to waist coats and shoes and collectively we came to an outfit that looked top notch and made me feel even better.

They're great guys who made the whole experience a real pleasure and I can't fault Jack Bunneys from beginning to end.

I have been visiting this shop for more years than I can remember. It is a family firm, now in at least its 3rd generation. The staff are always very polite and helpful and seem intuitively to know what size you need and what style clothes would fit and suit you best. The shop is always well-stocked and they fall over themselves to fulfill your needs, making alterations almost while you wait. Now almost the only proper old-fashioned clothes shop in the entire area. Long live Jack Bunneys !

This is an excellent company. I found them on the web and the website was very clever, well laid out and well written. I telephoned the company and the staff were intellignet and articulate. I made an appointment with my fiance and we both enjoyed the experience very much. The staff are very knowledgable of their chosen profession. They are extremely helpful and quite funny too! Since purchasing my wedding suit there in 2008 , I have returned for more suits. I now have all my suits made there. One of Britains little treasures. A truly great small business.
