Please put this in to support ZANUSSI - used their products since 1984; this Tumble Drier at least 10 years with NO WORRIES AT ALL.STANDARD WHITE MODEL PLAIN FLAT PaNEL FRONT DOOR PUSH IN TO OPEN. Two cycles cottons and polyester. Reverse action. Dries line hung cottons in less than an hour quietly. Main thing is, plugged it in, put vent to outside and have used it without concern ever since. Similarly washing machine which gave wonderful service for 20 yrs until i felt i wanted higher spin speed and got a 1600prm new to market £700+ (moral if it aint broke don't even think of fixing it) B...h washing machin-do they have shares in junk yards.......
Lucky you. After 10 years mine started to go on fire. When I checked online I noted that Zanussi had warned owners of this and said they were contacting owners. They never contacted me, but when I contacted them, I got no satisfaction. They eventually sent out an engineer to check, and that was the end of it. No further communication. I am currently going about purchasing a new dryer but I will not be dealing with Electrolux who own Zanussi. No customer service.
