Silvercrest Light Up Glass Kettle

Bought this kettle in July 2024 and although I am happy with it for the most part I think a warning label or improvement to the lid is needed. I followed the instructions about first use and boiled some water but when I went to pour this out I found that the lid did not lock down when hot and water came out all around the spout. Thinking this was a one off problem I continued to let the kettle cool and then boil again. Same thing happened and continues to happen. The kettle pours as it should when only warm but the lid lifts as the kettle reaches boiling. I wear my rubber glove now to prevent the hot steam burning my hand and would recommend other users to do the same. As this is our caravan kettle and not used daily it will be replaced next season.

It's simple to fill through the spout and pour precisely, and it's also lightweight when empty. Heats the water in perfect temperature.

I bought this kettle because I wanted to make teas at different temperatures, but the led's do not do what is indicated at all. So basically it's an ordinary kettle nothing more, nothing less

It is best product and of excellent quality. Easy to use. Interior material is best and worth the money. The price is affordable. Water boils quickly and heats fast. Once ordered the delivery is fast. Recommended to friends and family.

We bought a Silvercrest Light Up Glass Kettle. Unfortunately, we didn't keep the cash slip or invoice as we always do for bigger purchases. The interior base of the kettle started to rust about six weeks ago. Obviously this should not happen as it is supposed to be Inox (stainless steel) but it has. We are probably not going to get any satisfaction but be warned about this kettle. Ours cannot be the only one that has rusted.

This is the best kettle used for fast boiling water. It is very beautiful.

This is a really good kettle. Easy to fill with the hinged flap in the lid, quick to boil and changing colours that tell you how hot the water is getting. When you first turn the kettle on the ring of LED's turn green then, as the water heats up, the LED's change colour through yellow, purple and finally red when the water is boiling.

As expected, the kettle turns off automatically when the water is boiling and it pours well from the spout.

Exactly what you'd want from a kettle - and it comes with a 3 year warrant!
