Goyt Mill Pets & Saddlery, Stockport

I have been shopping at Goyt Mill for some time now and have never been disappointed or left empty handed. The store is a treasure trove of horsey items, including tack, riding clothes, accessories, and medicinal remedies.

The store is run by the owners and they are friendly, supportive and knowledgeable not only of their products, but also of the equestrian events and other goings-on in the area.

There are regular in-store demo days where product agents visit to promote new products and take specialist orders. Very helpful if you have feet or calves which are bigger or wider than the norm.

The store also sells horse fodder, straw and shavings and is really your one-stop-horse-shop.

There is a small but varied pet section, as well as an area where there is a notice board where horses as well as livery yards/grazing are advertised.

The only downside is that the parking is quite on the tight side, especially if the adjacent bed store is taking a delivery or is loading an order.

All in all fantastic tack shop which I would have no trouble in recommending for riders of any level. Well worth a visit.
