Avoid !!!
placed an order for bedroom furniture five and a half weeks ago on 25/3/2023 and was given a 4 week lead time. This was not a problem. Later that day I placed a second order for some more bedroom furniture. However, this item was in stock for immediate delivery. I paid my delivery charge and waited. 2 days later I received an email asking if I wanted to have all of the items delivered together (in 4 weeks). I responded that I had paid the second delivery charge and would like this item delivered ASAP. I heard nothing more from them regarding either of my orders. I chased them again today and they SAID that they had emailed me with a delivery date of 3 April. I did NOT receive this email and it did NOT go to JUNK as they suggested.
I was then offered a delivery on 9th May (not exactly express delivery). I told them I was thinking of cancelling my orders and was advised that I would need to email this if I wanted to cancel. I thought about it and sent an email advising that I would accept the delivery on 9th May. I then received a call asking me if this was correct. I asked if this delivery was both orders or just one order. She said it would be both orders. When I asked (politely I might add) whether this was the plan all along (2 delivery charges but only 1 x delivery) I was told that because I was rude ( I was NOT rude - although I certainly felt like I could have been very rude, I simply asked a question that made this lady uncomfortable) she was going to cancel my orders. This was actually a huge relief to me as, at this point, I didn't hold out much hope for a successful outcome. However, 2 minutes later I received an email advising that both of my orders were cancelled at MY request. Still awaiting my refund and keeping my fingers crossed that we can avoid a trip to small claims court!
