Stay Well Clear!
Will Writing and Probate Services Ltd (WWAPS) did not prepare my Father's Will in the manner that it should have been prepared. The Will file they held for my Father's Will was inconclusive and we were therefore unable to find out why he left his Will the way he did. An independent solicitor examined the Will file in detail and concluded these findings. I would strongly recommend that you use a solicitor to prepare your Wills and administer your Probate as I have found this company extremely slow and incompetent in handling these affairs. I feel that the communication from WWAPS was very poor and they did not answer our questions or concerns or provide the paperwork that we requested. I would definitely avoid using this company!
When a company holds a will they should contact all executors and invite them to a will reading meeting.
When more than four years after the death I discovered I was an executor for a relative and asked the question of this company why I had not been contacted I received the reply
“ I thought you were”
Read of that cold response what you will and we will never know how many other executors have suffered this fete from such an unprofessional company.
A representative did offer to provide a copy of my signature they (ww&ps) had obtained without contacting me direct as they should do.
So I asked the question
How was that signature obtained when ww&ps had not contacted me as an executor of the estate.
I received no reply from the representative who is usually keen to provide an excuse or as she called her excuses “an explanation”
There will of course always be a trusting gullible person who will accept this behavior, while others will realize that an honest, trustworthy company would have investigated and advised the appropriate persons of how a signature from an executor was obtained when no communication was received by the executor.
That is a difference between a professional, impartial & honest acting company and a “will writing & probate services” company.
Very interesting review with lack of proper clarity from the Director. I have experienced similar issues which are commented on else where.

17th November 2011 we received the Grant of Probate
30th November 2011 we receive a letter from one of the children’s solicitor, stating they are considering a claim under the Inheritance Family & Dependants Act 1975, effectively holding the estate up for 6 months until 30th May 2012.
After lengthy correspondence the claim was not proceeded with.
