To all car sellers I am selling my AUDI A4 convertable, I had a buyer request a car inspection from the RAC which I welcomed he arrived in his own car with just a few tools which looked very dodgy didn't look provisional what so ever the inspection lasted 40min which the buyer told me it would take up to 2 1/2 hours the report the inspector gave the buyer was false information like my car had no mot which was la lie as my mot runs out 28 apr 2015 also gave the buyer nothing but a bad report on my car which is rubbish as my car is immaculate, also the buyer told me he paid the RAC £229 for this inspection which was for only 40 mins I personally think the buyer was giving this false information so he would pull out of the sale so they could have him request another inspection for another £229 for 40 mins work. I did call RAC to make a complaint I had absulutly no help what so ever as they told me there was no complaint to be made Which made me so angry as they made me lose a sale on my car by giving this false information I will never welcome an RAC inspection on any of my cars again which I'm selling in the future I wouldn't recommend anyone to use them or let them inspect your car as all they will do is make you lose your sale

Quick and easy to use and very helpful

I am impressed by the speed and clarity of the site and the links to dealers and groups is very good I have saved hours of time and travel by using the site. I will only buy a car if it is backed by the RAC as too many people can be ripped off.

I have been able to select cars of interest and will arrange viewing accordingly knowing what to expect beforehand

Backed by rac ,so was quite happy to part with the money car ,looked to be in good condition and was within the prices that we had looked at on line, salesman very personable and helpful so hopefully when we collect the veh on Tuesday everything will be ok

The person on the sales team dealt with us, we were there to have a look at an Audi A1 sports back. We were happy with our being able to test drive the car that I saw in your webpage. The car performed as I had hoped having a short drive and the downside was the colour of this car being an off white finish which did not appeal to us. We discussed other options which we would prefer to have such as sunroof and I believe we had feedback from a finance company linked with our visit to the garage.

Having thought about it we have to be sure it is the right solution and we are going to check out other garages out to find the car we want.

There was a really good selection of cars available at this garage so may visit again if seeing what we want.

No pressure selling on our SAAB Vector 2007 Tid. But plenty of honesty from an experienced trader, and there was no insistence from the seller to be on site for the test run or to accompany us for a vehicle inspection etc. Unless we specifically requested. The sale was conducted in a slightly tongue in cheek humorous way, which made everyone feel at ease, which after our 200 mile journey to the site was hugely appreciated. I'd recommend this establishment and those who work tirelessly within it any day, as they certainly deserve to continue to do well. 10/10 for their common courtesy and politeness. The vehicle was thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and to such a high standard that I've not encountered for many a long year. It was refreshing to see such devotion to the minor details. I would travel that 200 miles again to buy a car from them! They even responded to every email and voice message I left for them. The only NEGATIVES I had was that we weren't told until we arrived that the 'Reverse Assist function' was not functioning, and that there was only the ONE KEY to the vehicle, which for a dealer to sell on, was quite extraordinary and will cost me around £90 for a spare key to get cut on a 'MisterMint' CNC machine.

Cars on my short list that have been sold are not updated quick enough. There is one particular car I really liked and was ready to travel to view the car. I was told over the phone that the car had been sold.. Three weeks later the same car is still being shown the website as being available. Once again I contacted the dealer only to be told the car had been sold. How many other cars are being advertised as available when they are not.
