Completely gutted with customer service from lovetheatre
Booked my older relatives to come to see a show
Then the train strikes happened on that upcoming day
I have purchased 7 tickets at a heavy price but in tcs they will not let me more the show tickets to another date unless it’s exactly the same price (there prices have now increased!) I’ve chose 7 tickets at a less price tag and will not let me exchange as it’ll mess with their system.
I have party members that are careers and now we have lost all our ticket price.
So alarming that a company can inflate prices and then use this as part of their tcs.

Refused To Help When System Made A Mistake
Made an order, got an order confirmation which had the wrong date, pointed this out and received a message after two weeks of waiting that will not accept refunds after a booking... even know i simply wanted to get it booked for the day i put in and not the day the system has now booked me under, straight up refused to help avoid

Awaiting Refund
Booked tickets for Pretty Woman for 27th December which was cancelled due to COVID. Had an email saying I don't have to do anything and will be refunded tickets. The site states a refund will be given within 14 days. It is now 45 days later, 2 complaint emails and no response or refund back. No phone number to call.Terrible service and looks like I have lost the £200 Christmas present i had booked for my other half.

Booked tickets online, no confirmation email, waited the required 48 hours, then attempted to contact them. Customer service was appalling, no one answers the telephone and the email just generates a standard response. I have even messaged them on social media to no avail. Strangely the money was taken from my bank account very quickly. I am now involving STAR. org.uk and considering getting the bank to investigate.

Mistakes Made
I recently booked tickets for my girlfriends Xmas present on the 27th November. Having entered all the details I selected some tickets for the 3rd December, I booked them and then filed the booking confirmation.
On the 23rd December I went to print the booking confirmation to put it in my girlfriends Xmas card and the date on the booking was 29th November. Having contacted customer service I received a couple of emails back stating first "you had booked the ticket for the 29th November" and the second reply blamed "user error during the booking process". I know for sure what date I selected as I booked it into my calendar at the same time.
I wouldn't trust LOVEtheatre to book tickets again. I book theatre tickets a lot and found there was lag on the website and a big mistake was made on the booking itself.
Never Use Again!
I bought my tickets for my young daughter and I before the terrorists attacks in London, we decided it was not safe to go. I rang asked if I could have a refund I was told no but could change the dates. I rang back the next day and was told this info I was given was incorrect, I asked then to listen to the call as recorded they told me they dnt record I asked to speak to the manager who said they do record calls but not on a weekend, funny that. I was told I could sell my tickets myself but when I read the small print you can't. They dnt know what there doing I've now lost £165, not happy & never use again. !!!!!

Twice Bitten
I have used this website, Lovetheatre.com twice and would like make the following comments to make sure nobody else a) makes my mistake and b) realises once you get to the restaurants you know what to expect.
If you go for the inclusive "meal deal", when you get to he restaurants your selection is very limited. I bought this for a treat for a friend and was bitterly disappointed. Had good seats for the show so was pleased with that.
The other time, I booked thinking I had booked an "after" theatre meal at a certain restaurant and when my confirmation came through it was a "pre" theatre meal in a totally different place and of course once you have booked there is no going back despite the fact that I explained that the restaurant I thought I had booked was on my hit list "to do before I die" and at almost 70 year of age this could be at any time. Next time I book the theatre, it will be my last choice to book as there are plenty of other places and availability if you go into London and book last minute. I am wondering what my second meal will be like when I get there on the 20th December

Terrible Service Cheaper Tickets Elsewhere With Better Seats
I tried booking tickets on their website for hours, used different cards and the website wouldn't register the payment. The next morning I tried again, refreshed the page, used a different laptop and card, the payment still wouldn't go through. I then had to ring them up (which they charge customers a minimum of £1.95) spoke to a lady on the phone about my problem to which she told me that there was nothing she could do and then tried selling me tickets on the phone which cost triple the price of those on the website. I ended up booking with atgtickets the website is much easier to navigate and I got cheaper tickets for a better price. I wouldn't book with Love Theatre after such poor service and then even worse having to pay £1.95 just to make a query about my payment. Absolute robbery!

Poor After Sales Service
Extremely poor service. No-one will discuss the tickets it is only email and reluctant to help. I will never use this site again, once taken your money they do not want to help whatever the circumstance.
Value For Money Disappointed
Yesterday we have 5 great seats in the stalls for Funny Girl - great show, go and see it. Face value £69.50 each (total £347.50) we also bought 5 premium standard restaurant vouchers for an additional £347.00 as I paid a total of £625. Taking into account a booking fee I was shocked to discover the portion size and selection on the Love Thetare Menu. It's not totally dissimilar to the one emailed me but it was different. I asked the restaurant manager how much our 3 course meal would have cost if we hadn't booked through Love Theatre and she said £19.95. Knowing we had paid at least £50 for it each the quality and position size was not value for money. I would very much appreciate a response from Love Thetare on this issue as possible even a refund on the meal element. 2. Sausages and mash do not make a a premium meal. Thanks you.
