Village Panorama Hotel, Agia Pelagia, Greece

This Hotel is superb value for money.We went all inclusive and this worked out far cheaper than going self catering.The Hotel has a new chef this year and the food has certainly improved.There are superb views over the bay and the rooms are clean tidy and have everything you need.The activities in and around the pool during the day and on the terrace bar in the evening are all great fun and a good way of getting to meet people.If you dont want to get involved in the activities there is a completely seperate relaxing pool and there are two lovely beaches about 10 mins walk away.Coming back takes a bit longer as it is quite steep but there are courtesy buses.Best times to go are probably May and September you still get the great weather and its not as busy as June/July/August.

Two small tips.A taxi from Iraklion costs 35 Euros each way.If you prebook a resort transfer (we used A to B)it is half the price and you get the same taxi.Pool/beach towels are not provided by the hotel so you will need to take these with you.
