Savannes Bay Garden Inn Vieux Fort, St Lucia

Rated POOR no Stars. Warning to future guests. Book somewhere else. Owner was to reserve the hotel for 28 guests for a wedding and reception on site. Half the rooms were not available after a reserving months in advance. Rooms were not cleaned and appliances did not work. Towels and sheets were not replace. Available washer did not work, multiple rooms had NO air conditioning. No way to cook meals because stoves did not work. Charcoal for grills was not provided. Electricity went out during guest's wedding rehearsal dinner and the following night during the wedding. It was out for hours. This ruined the wedding. Guests who could not be accommodated at the hotel were moved 20 minutes away to a second story villa which lost water two days in a row. They could not shower or flush toilets for about 4 hours each day. The guests were told they had buy there own toilet paper until outraged guests complained. Bugs in all the rooms. Pool had tiles missing from the walls .Guests fell with minor injuries on bad tiles around the pool area. The areas were not cleaned after use. No reception open 24 hours as advertised. Hard to reach the owner who had no manners or professional attitude. Owner would not keep appointments with organizers of the wedding. The owner claimed old worn furniture, doors and other false claims to avoid having to pay a refund to the entire wedding guest's who chose to leave early due to the poor conditions.
