Not Cheap But Nasty
What didn't we like? 'NOTICE TO VACATE' sign on door did not instil confidence. If we had seen the notice before checking in we would have made alternate arrangements. The front entrance door was chained open when we first arrived so we did not see the Notice until returning from a very enjoyable evening out at the Phantom of the Opera - certainly put a dampener on the evening. The staff the next morning were very off hand regarding the Notice.
Bed very uncomfortable and creaky.
Stairs very steep, no lift available.
All floors creaky.
Didn't feel safe with regards to fire safety.
Industrial steel doors made it feel 'prison like'.
Most expensive hotel we stayed in in USA. Boston Millenium, Boston Renaissance, LA Marriott, Handlery Union Square San Francisco and La Quinta Auburn MA all cheaper, cleaner and friendlier.
Room very small. No clear floor space wider than a metre.
