Fisherman's Cot, Tiverton

Whilst arriving late and with an extra person, we were made welcome and seated during a busy Sunday lunch period - without even a hint that the service was overstretched. The waitress interacted well from beginning to end - even welcoming us back for another occasion, which we would do without hesitation when next in the area. Thank you for providing such an enjoyable interlude in every respect!

Room very over priced, needed updating, shower not cleaned properly, design of it meant rafters on the roof in bathroom were that low you were constantly banging your head absolutely ridiculous (room no9). Food very poor, portions very small, not up to temperature by the time it gets to your table . I had burger meal burgers were under weight and over cooked,chips were the same as McDonald's , onion rings I paid 50p each these were a child's portion and barely warm. Dessert had to go back to kitchen barely warm again to be replaced. Bar staff great girls worked incredibly hard always on the go. Apart from the fantastic views the place had nothing going for it. And we stayed just the one night 26 aug just gone.At the very most I would say 6 out of 10.

I have got the best experience at this place. The overall accommodation, services provided and everything here was so perfect. Myself and my friends have had the best experience here. i would definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues at my work place working in Digital Academy 360. A best place to relax for your vacation. Looking forward to visit this place again. Worth the money and better the place.

Last Wednesday (4/8/21)we booked a table at the Fishermans Cot Tiverton for 20.00 we were taken to our table and drinks were quickly served but by 20.45 are food order had not been taken when the food did arrive it was just about ok,we then had a similar wait for a dessert menu on both occasions we had to ask for the menu. The place was only a third full so being very busy cannot be an excuse for such poor and inadequate service

We stayed at the Fisherman's Cot in Tiverton for a 2 night stay.The team offered a friendly and very warm welcome. Our room was very comfortable with a large double bed and an en suite. Albeit the Marston's group could update this accommodation with some redecoration this did not take away what was a very comfortable and welcoming stay and previous comments posted on such sites as Trip Advisor gave it bad press. Thankfully we didn't take too much notice of previous comments posted and will gladly be visiting Fisherman's Cot again in the non too distant future. Thanks to his team for a great stay.
