Parque Santiago III Apartments

After staying at Santiago III in October 2010 for 1-week we decided to go back in August 11 for 12-nights. It was so relaxing and our 9-year old son enjoyed the slide pool at Santiago III, which has 6 different slides. He was in there at 11am until we had to drag him out for lunch then back in again until it closed at 6pm. He made a lot of friends and was kept occupied all day, giving us time to relax and enjoy the sun, read and have drinks by the pool. My son says it is the best holiday so far. The accommodation is well equipt and is cleaned every day and towels changed regularly. At booking we asked for a 1-bedroomed apartment on an upper level with a pool or sea view but got the side of a building as our view. We asked for a move but there were no other one bedroomed apartments available so we asked if there was anything else they could offer and because we mention that we had stayed there before we were offered the chance to view a studio apartment the following day on an upper level with a balcony and views of all pools. We were absolutely delighted as the studio was a good size with a separate sleeping area from the living area.

There are plenty of shops, restuarants, bars and there is a mini golf complex just across the road, which is worth a visit or 2 everything is very clean and tidy and everyone very friendly. Taxi's are fairly reasonable although many of the trips you can take include a free return bus service and these are met at a central point but within easy reach of the apartments. The promenade and beach are at the rear of the complex and walks to beach front restuarants of Las Americas and Los Cristianos are lovely. We will definitely go back and the great thing is the all year weather.
