Kalidonio Studios

Just returned from a week at Kalidonia studios booked through Lowcostholidays and my wife and I had a great time. The studios are spacious and adequately equipped, and certainly were value for money. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and sheets and towels were changed every other day. The pool area and garden are also well looked after and, with no loud music playing, it was a delight to swim and relax around the pool. The sisters who run the hotel are friendly and helpful and the hotel is in an ideal location, less than 500 metres from the beach in one direction and about 300 metres from the village centre in the other direction, making it accessible but away from the busiest areas so peaceful as well. Be aware that it is not far from the flight path of the nearby airport but the planes seemed to come and go at civilised times and not in huge numbers anyway. We actually quite enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the aeroplanes. Kalamaki is a pleasant resort with plenty of good tavernas and bars, as well as an excellent beach, and is not as large or busy as nearby Laganas. We would definitely stay here again.
