Lindner Hotel & Spa Ruegen

If you are visiting Germany and want to feel the real spirit of hospitality of Germans than you must visit Lindner Hotel and Spa Ruegen. they have second to none hospitality services.

I've stayed at this hotel for almost 20 years on and off and this year it changed hands from Raddison to a German family group, Lindner. Many of the staff remain the same, which is good.

You'll need a car to get there as it's 4km from Trent, the nearest village and 20km from Bergen, the nearest town.

This is not a luxury hotel, despite its 4 stars. Clean, functional, good pool but it has not been refurbished since it was built. No a/c which might not seem a bit deal but in mid summer temperatures are 30'C and some rooms get vv hot. Ask reception for a fan - they have lots!

Good food, including room service. Hopefully Lindner will invest as the hotel deserves it.
