Great All Round Holiday

Surprised the last review of this hotel is in 2006!And not much has changed in overall experience, still very good.We were put in a noisy room near a generator with a 19mnth year old, but they changed us immediately and without a fuss! The waiters and waitresses made a real fuss of our toddler! The small pool was just right for our toddler who would not get out of it.The daytime entertainment is good and is on 6days a week, the choco latte song on daily on aqua aerobics is a hit with everyone, my little one wants to hear it now we are back in england(had to download it from youtube!)They have a brand new childrens park which is very good when the heat goes down.Drinks are expensive from the pool bar but you expect that (beer was on offer though at £2.25 a pint-not bad), the mini mart is 3mins from pool so you can easily get a drink there and though they have signs not to bring drinks in, they dont seemed to police this! The 25min walk to the harbour is a real find and not well advertised - just go left when walking out of pool and follow path round and you get to a little monte carlo!,prices varied in all shops and you can find smirnoff 1ltr vodka for 9euros!

Dont normally go back to the same place, but this is one i would and it looks like lowcostholidays package price is very good - Thomson wanted £1000 more for same holiday - Well done lowcostholidays

The Kefalos Beach Tourist Village Staff Were Excel

The Kefalos Beach Tourist Village staff were excellent, all very helpful & friendly. The pool area is superb with direct beach access (although the beach's sand is very coarse and the sea is very stoney-really not suitable for children). Lots of sunbeds and very tidy. The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need for a self-catering holiday. There is a very good restaurant on the complex which serves good quality food in a buffet style setting. This also serves the breakfast which is well worth the cost-when we were there they charged cyp£3 per adult & children ate for free. This, by the way, is an all you can eat price! The maids clean the rooms every day and fresh towels are left for you. The hotel is designed in a village style with small blocks of approx 5 appartments(2 storey) and the walk ways in between are lined with beautiful plants and flowers-all neatly kept. There is an adequate mini-mart on site which sells all the basics plus beach items and floats so don't waste suitcase space with these and operates from early morning to 9pm on the evening. There is a very friendly feel all around the hotel and everyone has a smile for you. Children are adored and a lot of fuss is made of them wherever you go. Surrounding the hotel is peace and quiet but after a 5min stroll you arrive at a bustling area of shops and restaurants-but nothing brash or tasteless. The hotel is very close to the Tomb of the Kings and the Elysium hotel but is quite a far way(by road) from the harbour, but you can walk along the coast to it within 15mins. It might be the wrong end of Paphos for frequent visitors but we've never been before and we were very impressed with the area. There ar numerous climbing frames(little tikes type) along the beach area, but the main playground is off the hotel grounds which we found quite unusual so doesn't get used much. It is very safe though as it's surrounded by fencing and the whole hotel is only 6years old so it is still good quality. To round up, a super hotel with excellent service and good standards thoughout. We were so impressed, we booked to go back (and we've never done that before)
