The Photos For The Coral Beach Hotel In Pathos Is

The photos for the Coral Beach Hotel in Pathos is representative, although the rooms are very basic. We went as a family of four and the down side is that it is not as great for kids as described. The kids club was so dull and empty that the kids never wanted to go and if you are happy to feed the kids smiley faces everyday then the 'kids restaurant' is for you. We went all inclusive but ended up going out quite a bit, partly because the kids were bored, partly because we could never get a sun lounger by the pool and partly so the kids could get something different to eat. We did make it to the kids disco one night but it was a bit like the description of the kids restaurant. It had music but there was no disco, it was a carpeted room, the lights were on and the parents sat on the floor whilst a handful of kids jumped about. Being 7 months pregnant I didn't fancy the floor and the kids who normally join in anything like that didn't want to stay anyway.

The location is good and public transport is frequent and cheap. The adults food was very nice. The staff were friendly but incredibly slow, particularly at the beach bar where the queue was always there and standing in 40 degree heat for half an hour for a bottle of water just became ridiculous and you ended up going without or to the supermarket. Overall I would say it was great for couples but not somewhere to take a young family.

Overall We Had A Fantastic Holiday, Although There

Overall we had a fantastic holiday, although there were bad points, the friendliness of the staff made the holiday.

The resident band TNT Benni are located in a room just off the main lounge area (non smoking bar) and I think because of this, it was at time poorly attended which was a shame as they were so good. Coral bay also has some great restaurants (5 mins by taxi) or bus. The Italian restaurant at the top of Coral bay is recommended as is Zanntes Bar just down from it.

Don't Be Fooled, 5 Star Hotel Is 3 Star With 5 Sta

Don't be fooled, 5 Star hotel is 3 star with 5 star prices, one of the worst places we have stayed for a holiday atmosphere, they are only interested in catering for the constant wedding parties that take over the hotel.

This Is Our Second Visit To This Wonderful Hotel W

This is our second visit to this wonderful hotel which in my opinion is a 5 star hotel. This time we stayed in June/July. The staff as always very pleasant and professional. The food at the hotel is superb, very varied cuisine from around the world each night.

Terraces beautiful in which to have a drink of a day or evening. Good maid service twice daily clean with pool towels each day (as many as you wanted).

Pool area good, plenty of sun loungers. Great for children with separate pool and large umbrellas.

Pool service good and cafeteria at pool offered beautiful freshly made pancakes during my stay with anything you wanted with them, sauces, ice cream, fruit etc..

On return from holiday I noticed I was missing some clothes which I had left behind in my room. I spoke to the hotel and they are returning them to me, which I thought was very good of them.

Will definitely be back next year.

Tip: If you can, it is worth hiring a car as another reviewer mentioned. It is around 15 minutes by car/bus into Paphos town, although Coral Bay has shops, bars, restaurants etc. Take a trip to Pissouri bay. Very relaxing, beach restaurant lovely.

I Would Never Return To Coral Beach Resort In Paph

I would never return to Coral Beach Resort in Paphos!

The receptionist was impolite and unhelpful. Very unfortunate manner!

The hotel was over-run with conference guests, many of whom were offensive, intimidating, drunk, juvenile and noisy. There were conferences running throughout our 10 day stay. Primarily hairdressers.

Even though we had booked into the Executive Wing and the marketing material promised 'absolute relaxation', I think that I can honestly say it was one of the very worst holidays of my life. Far from relaxing. It was what I imagine an 18 - 30 Holiday Camp would be like!

The Manager was disinterested in my feedback, and stated that it is a very large hotel and the only way they can run the business is to have these conventions. He was clearly more interested in the business guests as opposed to the holiday guests!

In My Opinion The Coral Beach Hotel And Resort Is

In my opinion the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort is 5 star luxury - our third visit this summer was no disappointment. Our family room received fresh towels twice daily - the pool area was great for our children (and we saw it tested in contrast to other reviewer) with games and entertainment all day and night should you want it. Staff are helpful and lunch at poolside bar was always good. Facilities for our family to scuba dive were on site so no need to travel if you don't want to. Coral Bay itself is just a 15 min stroll away with bars and shops a plenty. Evening meals were varied and top quality - something for everyone.

We will certainly return!

In My Opinion Coral Beach Hotel And Resort Is A Lo

In my opinion Coral Beach Hotel and Resort is a lousy lousy hotel. Dire property, rubbish food, children's club a total joke, promised infant facilities nonexistent. I'd say this was a 2 star experience (and we were in a newer, executive suite) but there are terrific 2 stars around the globe I would be doing serious injustice to. our £4500.00 was badly spent and we came home exhausted. The beach is terrible, location sucks. Never saw anyone check crowded pool for bacteria cultures. We rented a car and went north to Lachi for last 3 days and that was the best/ smartest thing we did.
