Not A Hotel For Elderly Or Those With Mobility Problems

We have just come back from three week holiday at hotel Ophree, Plat in Croatia & would not recommend it to anyone over 60 years of age or anyone who has any kind of mobility problems. There are so many steps to get to any place in the hotel, up & down to reception, down to dining room or to the pool & there was noway we could make it to the beach, so many steps. The staff were great( 80% of them) that is, we found the staff at the pool were excellent they could not do enough for us. The waitress was really great too once we got to know her. We were not impressed by the bedrooms, a bit squashed, but the cleaners were great, everything was spotless. I wish we had reviewed this hotel a lot more before booking, it was a big disappointment for us. We would have liked to know about the steps that had to negotiated to get anywhere in the hotel.
