I Loved The Port El Kantaoui Hotel And The Staff W
I loved the Port El Kantaoui hotel and the staff were absolutely fantastic, as well as very good looking. The hotel is suitable for families and also couples. i loved everything about the hotel and the only thing which i would improve would be the rooms. The maids were also exceptional and very friendly.

Port El Kantaoui Imperial Marhaba Was Definitely T
Port El Kantaoui Imperial Marhaba was definitely the best holiday me and my family have had in a long time simply because of the facilities the hotel offered and the friendliness of all the staff. The hotel was beautiful to look at with the detail to water fountains (inside and outside), the lights and marble walls and floor. The pools were of perfect sizes with an indoor pool which came in useful to do lengths up and down and to train in. There was also a children's pool and a bar which served chilling drinks and food to have by the pool. There was always plenty of lilos available to relax on.
On a number of nights there was a live band playing relaxing music whilst enjoying a drink in the lobby. The food was irresistible, especially the desserts with mini cakes and ice-cream. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast as there was cooked breakfasts available with eggs and omelettes and pancakes. There was simply no room to fault the meals!
The hotel was clean and the maids were delightful and friendly. They left the bed covers in a different shape on your bed every morning with flowers. Port el Kantaoui was clean and the boats were peaceful to look at night. The water fountain was lovely to look at and there was countless amounts of activities that you could book to go such as the catamaran (boat), submarines and scuba diving. I recommend them all especially the scuba diving where you could touch and feed the fish!
It was definitely a holiday to remember and we are definitely going back next year.

The Imperial Marhaba Is Brilliant In Every Way, My
The Imperial Marhaba is Brilliant in every way, my husband and myself went from 03-10-04 to 17-10-04 for our first wedding anniversary, the staff are very smart and cant do enough for you, the room cleaner we had was great we had rose petals spread all over our bed a very nice gesture and also a single red rose, our bed covers were made into a fan shaped design each day and she always had time for a chat and to greet us as we passed as do all the staff, the food is soooooo good unbelievable amounts of different foods to choose from and the sweets well just you wait and see yum! yum!.
It beautiful chandeliers as you enter the hotel are very elegant and the glass lifts are great although have a mind of their own sometimes and made us chuckle (great fun!)
The outdoor swimming pool is great and the beach is amazing and the safe water is cornered off so is extremely safe and lovely and warm, the Tunisians are lovely a real good laugh and girls the men only stare just like anyone else would back home, they are full of compliments but in a nice way not at all sleezy, my hubby was offered 10,000 camel for me haha, but it's all just a laugh with them not serious at all, don't go anywhere else this is the place to go if you want romance, relaxation and not loads of loud noise.
We didn't like sousse it was dirty and the madina markets are a nightmare really, if your good at haggling go for it be it wasn't for us, the marina in port el kantaoui is beautiful, clean and the shops and restaurants are great you don't get hassled like you do in sousse, the dancing water fountain is great at night it is all lit up with different colours and dances to classical music and is brilliant just to sit and watch. we had a brilliant time and will definitely be going back to this hotel and we are just back yesterday and my mother and father are booking it for next year. you will not be disappointed. ;-) xx
We are so glad you had a wonderful time. We stayed there in January 2000 for my husbands birthday. The staff were so friendly as you said and helpful. On my Husbands birthday they prsented him with a huge birthday cake. We shared it with some of the british people we had become friendly with.
We would rate the hotel as first class living up to its 5 star rating. The food was excellent although lacking in Traditional Tunisian cusine. I like cous cous which we only had twice in our 2 week stay but we had no complaints at all.
This is a highly recommendable place to stay and well worth paying a little bit more for.
