My brother and I booked in for one night while cycle touring in the area, and stayed five nights because of the good accommodation and great location for cycling the quiet roads of the Beara, Sheep's Head and Mizzen Head peninsulars. We had a car with us, and a short drive on some days took us to the starting point for some of the tours.

The kitchen was really well equipped, showers very good and the owner on site was completely helpful.

I recommend it as a great base for hillwalking, sea kayaking and cycling. A car is helpful as Adrigole is a small quiet village, which has a shop but you may want to go the Castletownbere or Glengarriff and public transport is not frequent.

There is good camping and caravan touring provision too.
