Beautiful City Mared By Graffitti Everywhere

I recently spent a month in Melbourne. I was hoping to love it but I hated it. This city is rich in some of the most beautiful archetecture ever with very old meeting very new. ALL are mared with the constant sight of GRAFFITI everywhere on these beautiful buildings. Laws are non-existent!! It should be made a first degree felony and then maybe this would stop. Melbourne has decided to just look the other way while the city is being destroyed. Landmarks, churches, railroad trams, street signs, and anything else is fair game to these idiots who are destroying anything in their path. I would never go back to this city just because of this. IT IS DUSGUSTING!!!

Had Been On A Holiday In The Month Of February Thi

Had been on a holiday in the month of February this year. One of my cousin is studying in Melbourne so we thought of going there and meet him. Considering it as a holiday, we went through a tour named Cox and Kings. It was great meeting my cousin after a long time. Apart from this, the remaining trip was also good. No complains from the tour side as they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They guided us with everything there and did not give us a chance to complain. Had a wonderful time in Melbourne with Cox & Kings!

Melbourne Is A Fantastic City. Being The Capital O

Melbourne is a fantastic city. Being the capital of the state of Victoria in Australia it has all the usual appeals of a city break, the vibrant city life, a choice of amazing restaurants and bars and great shopping.

What Melbourne also offers is pace of life and attitide that rivals many other cities i have visited. The people are friendly and the cafe culture and love of good food and drinking in nice bars is common practice. This attention to what and where you are eating and drinking is done in a very un-pretentious manner.

The city itself is well thought out and laid out in an easy to navigate format, with the iconic Flinders Street station on the banks of the Yarra River very much at the heart of the city centre.

Melbourne is a hub for artists, individuals and extroverts with fashion and art in all its forms celebrated by its inhabitants. The shopping backs up this ethos, offering all you could want in the citys many boutiques and more recognisable brands. Many Melbourne locals are proud of the fact that they pick up most of their clothes from 'oppertunity' (2nd hand) shope though.

The choice of Melbourne's beaches or parks is up to you. The gorgeous Botanical gargens border the Yarra and is always full of wedding parties, picknickers or those merely reading a book by the lake. If you are after a beach then St. Kilda is the nearest, offering a very boheamian setting for sun worshippers.

Sport is the life blood of Melbourne, with its cricket ground, the MCG hosting many events throughout the year; most noteably the AFL grand final, with teams like Essendon Bombers, rallying fierce supporters to create an great atmosphere.

When people think of Australia, Melbourne seems to be in the shadow of its northern neighbour, Sydney. However i would suggest Melbourne offers a wealth of other attractions for those visiting Australia. The choice of reataurants and bars will leave you with no shortage of options. The vibrant music and art scene will engage, the frenetic atmosphere of the MCG is like few others and the stunning parks and beaches all captivate you. However, as much of a cliche as it is, the people are Melbourne's real asset, they are friendly and proud of their city, stop and speak to the guy behind one of the many coffee shops and ask for reccomendations on what to do, you could be there for a while!

I cannot reccomend a trip to Melbourne highly enough. Although dont just stay in the city! Go see the great ocean road and country Victoria, famous for its great wines. When you have done that get a map and go see the rest of Australia, its a truely amazing country.
