Poor Customer Service
Hired a car with Delpaso via Doyouspain. Read the fine print and purchased an IDP before traveling but as we did not fly into Malaga on the day of booking was refused the car we booked and payed for. Was then asked for a further €350 to hire the same car we had payed Doyouspain for, when refused to pay we where told if we did not we would be band from using Delpaso in the future. Needles to say we did not pay the €350 but instead went to Clikrent and booked the same car for lessthan €100 with out the need for an IDP .

Making Up Rules To Grab Your Money
Avoid!!!! They make the rules as they go. They tried to force me yesterday to pay for their insurance claiming that I was given a penalty point from my last rental with them! That last time they had me waiting 20 minutes on returning the car outside their office as they were seeing other customers. When their agent attended to me she claimed that I was late! On their rental conditions there is no mention of penalty points forcing to pay their expensive insurance and they also have a grace period of 60 minutes!
Although I offered to pay the extra insurance they declined my booking and sent me looking for another company. Then they lied to the broker I booked the car with saying that I presented them with an invalid credit card. They are awful money grabbers and will sting you. AVOID

We (4 Of Us) Booked A Car With Delpaso Via Holiday
We (4 of us) booked a car with Delpaso via Holiday Autos. Upon arrival I was asked for my credit card which I provided. (This was the same credit card I used to purchase the car hire.) I was then told that I need to provide a credit card that does not have my first name with an abbreviation, in other words my full first name and surname must be present. However my credit card as like most people's credit card, only has their surname in full and initials for their first name. Delpaso said they could not rent the car to me without a credit card with the full names not abbreviated. After arguing with them and one of Delpaso's colleagues giggling in the background, I contacted Holiday Autos to see if they could resolve this. I was told they could not help either.
As it was already late in the evening I offered my Debit Card to Delpaso to take payment to which they refused. They also refused the credit cards of the 3 other people whom were travelling with me. This was clearly a sham as never have I or my friends ever heard of such a pathetic excuse for refusing car hire.
In the end, we had no choice but to rent a car from another reputable car hire company and pay 4 times the amount. To top it off, while we were there, 2 other people were refused their car rental unless they paid an additional insurance charge which they had already paid with Holiday Autos, which now meant their car rental doubled in price.
Clearly both these two companies are in cahoots in conning people out of their money, so I suggest you avoid them like the plague!!!

Worst Car Hire Rental…..ever
The worst car hire company I have used in 40 years of travelling. I arrived to pick up my car at Delpaso car hire after taking courtesy coach so was off airport and was told that they would not rent the car to me. It transpires that because I had previously left a negative review that they logged this against my profile and would not rent the car that I booked 5 months ago. So much for wanting to give them the chance to show that their service had improved, that they left me in Malaga without a car. If they hadn’t wanted to accept my booking then surely they should have cancelled it when I made the order, but I’m afraid Delpaso have not changed …their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced ( and after renting over 100 cars that says something) so I strongly suggest that you avoid them. Here is the review that the ‘blacklisted” me for…. I strongly suggest that you never, ever use this company Del Paso. They left me in a very dangerous situation.
When I arrived on 13th of October 2017, , I was advised that photos needed to be taken when I picked up the car which I did. This was needed as I did not want to pay for their insurance as I had purchased an annual car insurance policy with a company in England for all car hire in Europe. They no longer identify the scratches or dents on the car for you.
Upon returning the car today at the offsite Malaga airport office at 08.00, I took further photos to ensure that there were no issues. I then went to the " return car kiosk' and was met by a very rude and aggressive member of delpaso's team. He did NOT greet me with a " good morning", but said in a very aggressive tone " why did you take photos?". I explained that the helpful member of the team that I saw on arrival suggested that I take photos both at the beginning and end of the car hire.
After waiting, the same person then checked the car and identified 3 areas of concern. I asked whether he had details of whether these small scratches had been logged on their system before I picked up the car, and he responded with...." It's your job to take photos on arrival and prove the scratches were already there on pick up".
I showed him the photos that I had taken on picking the car up on the 13th, which showed the scratches were there before I took the car. He wrote on the paperwork " all ok".
Whilst waiting for the courtesy bus back to the airport, I was chatting to two groups of people that had also returned their car who were equally surprised by the aggressive nature of the same person. He had asked one lady to wait whilst he checked my car and then ignored her when he came back to the desk and served somebody else.
I visit Spain regularly and I am impressed by how helpful and polite the Spanish people are......with this one exception. I asked the person for his name so that I could write to delpaso so they could look into this persons very poor attitude. He said its ..."delpaso". I asked again very politely but he refused to give me his name.
As he was unwilling to give me his name, I took a photo of him, which I will send to delpaso.
He then refused to take me back to the airport and with my flight leaving 2.5 hours later, I had to walk back to the airport ( about 1.5 km) walking on an extremely busy road……absolutely appalling Delpaso….you should be ashamed

Stay Clear Of Delpaso. They Are Too Off Merchants.
Stay well away from them . It should be rated zero. Absolute waste of time. I booked my car from London and even paid the extra daily full insurance cover. They refused saying part of my first name is an initial on my 3 Barclays credit cards, therefore won’t accept it. However they said if I pay an extra €200 for the 4 days rental, then it would be ok !! They wanted this money on the same credit card they didn’t want to accept before !!! Seriously !???? This company is a rip off outfit and staff have an attitude problem and are very rude . Stay away from Delpaso

Don't Use Robbers
Don't use robbers. Told I needed an international driving licence to hire the car when I arrived to pick the car up. Or pay 161 euros for full insurance if I still wanted to hire the car. Be warned I will never use this company again.

Del Paso Is A Sham. Watch Out. Don't Book
Please don't rent a car with Del Paso Malaga
It is a sham.
If you don't take the assurance with them (5 days 170 Euro) they tell you to take the car. I had to make some pictures. At moment of pick-up was a bit dark.
I came back for the car return and I can tell you how happy and quick they were to find a small scratch on the rightside bumber back. Car had almost not moved in 5 days. We are 100% sure not to have bumped into anything. The scratch was underneath very small. 193,60 Euro I had to pay.
PLEASE DON'T BOOK with Del Paso.
it's a sham. Next one taking the same car, will have to pay the same amount. They profit from the scratch to lift money out of all tourists pocket.
