Sandford Holiday Park Dorset
There was Great customer service at reception I arrived early on Monday 10th June 2019 morning at 8;30am the women was very helpful I was given an upgrade which we loved, we got the keys was grateful to get in the caravan early.
We picked best time as was Term time and the swimming pool was not overcrowded so we enjoyed our daily swims. The entertainers can sing and dance and loved to watch these guys. The only thing was not liked was the comedy shows.. will definitely return sometime soon:)

Dirty Dangerous Appliances Rotting Food
worst and dirtiest caravan I have ever stayed in looked like someone had been sick down one of the front windows. the oven door fell apart when opened the grill didn't work the living space fire didn't work. bedroom walls looked like the roof had been leaking heaters full of rust.
had a meal where the lettuce was rotting when we complained to the waitress
her response " that's all right you can eat it, it wont harm you , anyway that's how we buy it" wrote and complained , no response that's how much they care.
Dirtiest Place I Have Ever Had The Misfortune To Stay At
Have been to St Minver in Cornwall, which is a Parkdean site 4/5 times now and is ok as far as static caravans go, it clean, friendly and nice, so thought Sandford Holiday Park, Poole would be ok, its a Parkdean site so surely they have a standard...... no they don't have any standards at all. Let me begin....
Caravan was dirty, not just a bit dirty but lets say something brown looking smeared down the bathroom door, toothpaste still in the sink, and definitely not a floor to stand with bare feet on..... dirty. The kitchen had tea/coffee stains splashed up the sides and the worktop was greasy and fridge was warmer inside than out! The oven look unused and quite frankly I didn't want to stop an eat inside so that didn't surprise me. The lino flooring was dirty and in the corners dirt and debris has stored up giving a blacky look to all corners. The furniture was stained and the material frayed, the radiators all had severe rusting. I did complain and a young man early 20s turned up with an asda spray and cloth? what was he going to do with that? so I said don't bother, I bought disinfectant, rubber gloves and cleaned the bathroom myself so we could use it, but I don't know why we bothered, the shower, well dribbled, so we didn't use it. Another disappointing thing was that the main bedroom the window didn't even fit, when it was closed there was a 5mm gap at the top! it was supposed to be a non smoking caravan but reeked of cigarette smoker (ex smoker, I know what it smells like) albeit it was a pet friendly van and you expect the odd doggy smell, but this was downright dirty, my very clean border collie stopped outside all the time, she sat out in the rain rather than in the van, and ventured in only at night. We paid £600 for a luxury 3 bed caravan, we stayed for only 4 days, I did complain again and they said sorry, we can clean it again if you like.... IF I LIKE? I WOULD HAVE LIKED IT CLEANING PROPERLY BEFORE I GOT THERE AFTER A 6 HOUR DRIVE. I have written to complain to Parkdean and will update this if they ever reply. I have taken a selection of photos which will be sent and welcome there comments/excuses. I for one will NEVER book a Parkdean site again and strongly suggest you read more reviews before doing so, I wish I had read more about this particular site.
My Family And I Went To This Holiday Park Last Yea
My family and i went to this holiday park last year in August in our touring caravan and we were totaly unimpressed with this site!
The toilet blocks were constantly dirty with mud and not properly clean however they seemed to be cleaning them every time i wanted to use them! We booked the holiday at the begining of the year and were given a pitch number. On arrival my parents went to book in and were told we had changed the booking and so they had moved us to another pitch, when all we had done was arrived a day late, due to car trouble, which we had informed them of. This new pitch, in the sesonal part of the touring field, was nothing but dirt, stones and weeds. No grass at all! On returning to office my parents were told if we didn't like it we would have to "go home" in a very rude manner. After playing our faces, we eventuly got our original pitch, which we were quite satified with. However our holiday problems did not end there.
Security were diabolical, they did not patrol the touring area and did not control the loud mouths coming up the field from the club at night. There was constantly a loud radio playing through the day from someone off the field and at night there was noice and drunkeness into the early hours of the morning and security didn't do anything about it.
One morning when walking around to the dog walk we were comfronted with raw sewage coming from a pitch with a manhole on it. I felt very sorry for the people who were on that pitch their awning was full of sewage.
Crazy golf is a good laugh but the course realy needed tlc as is was falling apart.
We have been to other park dean sites and had an excellent holiday, but this site leaves much to be desired. It sound like they look after there static caranvans more then the touring fields. So after our experiences we will not be going again.
This Was A Parkdean Holiday Camp Which I Booked Th
this was a parkdean holiday camp which i booked through hoseasons, it was the best uk holiday i had ever had, the accomodation was clean and spacious(it was a top caravan and did cost a bit but was worth it), i had a balcony on my caravan and it was situated right next to all the facilities, so the kids could play at the park, the entertainment was excellent, the kids loved it, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the outdoor pool kept the kids amused for a few hours(it was very clean aswell), it was also near to the beach so could have good days off the site, i would definately recommend this site to anybody wishing to book a uk holiday.
I am glad to read a review like this about SANDFORD PARKDEAN in POOLE since I have booked a four night stay for half term at this particular park. We will be staying in one of the luxury lodges, so I am looking forward to the holiday, especially after reading this good review!!
