Moelfryn Caravan Park

This is a "get away from it all site". There are ample showers and toilets which are exceptionally clean and warm with pipped music and a pleasant fragrance. The owner makes herself known to you and is really pleasant and likes to have a chat. There is a play area for children. There are grass and hardstanding pitches. The grass is kept short. There are lovely views from this site. There is a laundry room available. The pitches are metered and for the weekend our electric cost less than £2.00.

We walked to Newcastle Emlyn - the shortest way is turn right out of the site and follow the road directly to the small country town, the walk took just over one and a half hours, but we cheated and had a taxi back as the walk is extremely hilly (not at all suited to those who are infirm). There is a reasonably priced garden centre in the middle of the town for those who are interested.

Nothing is too much trouble for Rose and her husband.

I would certainly recommend this site, but a car is a necessity.
