Xado 1 Stage Engine Revitalizant

There are a load of products on the market that are added to engine oil etc and claim to reduce friction and wear, improve performance etc, and Xado is one such product. The engine oil additives come in various "strengths" depending on how old/worn the engine is, and I tried the "one stage" maxi strength, as my motorbike (a 4 cylinder twin-cam Kawasaki 750) has 50,000 miles on the clock.

Bypassing all the technical blurb, the claim is that the active ingredient will find worn-out and damaged bits, attach to them, and in effect permanently bond.

At this stage I will say that I have no way of measuring compression or BHP, and my fuel consumption is a fairly constant 50 mpg no matter how I ride, so it's all going to be subjective and based on what I believe I can hear and feel. So....

I had just (100 miles previously) done an oil change using decent fully-synthetic 10/40 when I added the Xado, and the difference was almost instant- huge reduction in the amount of rattles and rumbles heard. 5 miles later, I went up the slip road onto the motorway and the bike was revving more freely, needing less effort and throttle to get up to speed, and less vibes and general "tingling" felt.

That was last week, and the bike is now sounding and feeling just like it did 30,000 miles ago.

So from me it's a big thumbs up.
