My daughter was moving from Bath to Guildford. They basically had one bedroom and one lounge with no white goods to move. I decided to save her about £1000 by doing it myself and hiring a van. Looked at about fifteen local van-hire places and by far the cheapest was callvanhire - £88 for two days including VAT. I thought that being cheap it would be a slap-dash organisation running old bangers so I visited them first and found them extremely helpful and professional and the vans were in tip-top condition. The one I had was not four years old and had done 108000 miles but it drove better than my car! No problems whatsoever. I went 60 miles over my daily allowance but that amounted to less than £5 extra to pay. If I need another van to hire I'll definitely go back to callvanhire.
