Superior Porch.
We were thinking of an Isabella but the price was a stumbling block. This is more than a match for the magnum by Isabella. It takes half an hour to put up and gives room to sit . Room for dogs . It's ventilation panels are a bonus and it looks great. We have so many enquiries on site about it. We love it and on a van with a door to the front of the van it does not touch the front window or the bedroom window. Very satisfied

Great Awning, Super Quality, Easy To Erect But Rather Heavy.
We've been caravanning for around 16 years and had many awnings, both full and porch. This awning is superb quality and provides, to us, more room than a porch without the excessive room in a full awning and removing the need to change awnings for every change of caravan. It has been subjected to gale force winds in Scotland coming through without any problems, has been watertight and keeps its shape well so it always looks good. Unusually, for an awning, it has drawn a number of very positive comments too.
It incorporates full external sewn-in heavy-duty fabric zip fastened window blinds that completely shut out the light that, I imagine, are for year-round useage. We never use them at all. It comes with very nice curtains that are quick and east to put up and it also incorporates sewn-in storm strap anchor points that are easy and quick to attach - and they work well. Others have stated that the poles are difficult to fathom. I couldn't disagree more as it virtually falls together with the main frame poles being spring-linked and I find it far easier to set up than our previous two Trios. Nice big rubber pads on the three roof poles prevent caravan sidepanel damage.
Downsides? It is very heavy. I have split the awning into two bags and likewise the poles (steel) and would suggest that it would take a very fit person to lift either the awning or the poles if kept in single bags. My wife really like it both agree that this is the best all-round awning that we've had to date.

An Excellent All Year Awning With Plenty Of Space,
An excellent all year awning with plenty of space, comes complete with tie down straps pegs and caravan skirt.
We collected the awning on 1st December 2010 and took it away for three days during which their were snow showers temperatures down to -6C and strong winds. The awning behaved perfectly showing no signs of stress or leaking or condensation.
Putting it up first times took about an hour mainly because the poles and zip inserts were not marked. We colour coded the poles and tied coloured tape to the zips handles. We have had caravans and awnings for over 40 years, someone without experience might have really struggled with it for first time assembly. Apache should really make an effort to improve the instructions.
At £681 a great awning for the money which should last, with care, for many years.
I found this review very helpful because I had exactly the same problem with forst time assembly

We Are Also New To Caravanning And Purchased This
We are also new to caravanning and purchased this awning, unfortunately we had the same problem practically zero instructions, zero installation videos online and zero help from the manufacturer. For around £700 we were really very disappointed.
I found this review somewhat helpful because...
I think this reviewer concentrated more on the absence of help for the first initial assembly, which is poor. Remember once you have assembled it once then it should be easy, so rating it lowly on poor assembly instructions is perhaps a little unfair. The awning itself is of excellent quality and should last years,

New To Caravanning And Purchased This Awning As We
New to caravanning and purchased this awning as we were looking for quality that lasts. Very pleased with it but very disappointed that there were no assembly instructions. The poles are not even coloured coded which at least would have given us a clue. Luckily someone watched us struggle and gave us a hand, have to say we were very embarrassed! This awning was surprising large for a porch awning - not quite as big as a full size awning but plenty of space suitable for a two berth caravan and certainly looked smart.
