Beautiful Cat With A Drink Problem
I bought mine virtually new with 3000 miles on the clock. It is a beautifully styled, light (all alloy body) and fast convertible which turns heads wherever you go. The performance is more than you will ever need for UK and EU road travel. I particularly like the howl from the exhaust when I open up the V8.This, coupled with the whine from the supercharger, becomes addictive!
Creature comforts are in abundance and noise levels commendably low with the roof up. There is a back seat but it is only big enough for a baby or use as a leather lined luggage carrier.
Handling is good: the car never feels as if it is waiting for an opportunity to kill me - unlike my TVR!!
The only downside to ownership is the fuel consumption which hovers around the 20mpg mark. I would not recommend one as a daily driver. However, if like me you use the car on high days and holidays only, this becomes less of an issue.
In terms of reliability nothing has ever gone wrong but I appreciate that mine is a low mileage, cossetted example and probably not representative of the marque in general.
If you can afford the fuel bills then go buy one. You wont regret it!
