The New Caterham Car, The Caterham Rst-v8 Levante
The new Caterham car, the Caterham RST-V8 Levante is Caterham Cars' bold leap into the supercar world. What was once a kit car master company is now rubbing shoulders with Bugatti's Veyron concept car, which until February 2008 was about as likely as a four-legged tripod on eBay.The Caterham RST-V8 Levante has a 500bhp engine shoe-horned into a half-tonne body, which in real world terms means this thing pushes out 1000bhp per tonne. Any more and you'd be breaking the laws of physics. The 2.4 litre engine offers a 0-60mph time so impressive that you'll become best mates with the horizon in less than 3 seconds. In fact, Caterham had to electronically limit the top end speed to 150mph for safety. The Caterham Levante looks set to burn up our roads when the 20 lucky owners get their car keys given to them. I'm green with envy.
