had my reg on sale with them for years. Tried phoning , the number is dead!

Put my dead fathers personalised number plate up for sale with click4reg in February 23, it sold for £1000 in July we are now in March 24 I still haven't been paid. The excuse I keep getting is that the DVLA are really busy yet I can get a response from them within 48 hours!! My advice - avoid at all cost, if you want to see your money.

They offered me £400 in May 2023. I accepted their offer and for the next seven months they offered excuse, after excuse. They stated the money would be in my bank on the 20 Novembr 2023. That never happened after a further month of excuses the company went into administration!!!

Do not engage with this company.

Absolutely disgusting service I bought 2 private plate from these and waited over months still nothing contacted them getting fobbed off left right are lines are down the card machine down 8 months later send mt first money back then I was waiting for my last payment back of £458 to then fine it gone in to liquidation so I went on company house and he openied a new business called the Sussex exchange based at the same address as click4reg same owner !!! I’ve had to go through the bank to replace the money they have taken from me NEVER EVER BUY A PLATE FROM CLICK4REG

were quick to take my money then stopped replying and had to go to CC company for a refund. Stay Clear

I was contacted by Click4Reg back in October as I'd put my private plate up for sale on their site and others. They gave me an offer that I accepted, sent over the paperwork for me to sign which I did and I sent my retention certificate off at the same time to them..

Fast forward to the middle of January and still nothing heard, have tried calling the company but the numbers given on emails are not in use and their website is conveniently down due to maintenance.....

Have called DVLA but they can't tell me if they've received the paperwork or not so I'm now at a loss as to what to do....

If I could give them a big fat zero I would!

in august 2023. sent my retention certificate off to them. 3wks later said they had not received it

sent replacement. informed they had sold it. still no payment. now buy magic they’ve sent my original retention certificate back with a letter saying that buyer has withdrawn from sale. a total pack of lies. they’ve used replacement certificate. sold my reg. it now registered to a 2014 sprinter. 

I had sold my number plate through click4reg (£850) but still haven't got nothing back from even after I waited 12weeks can anyone get in contact with me on how to take legal action.

AVIOD this company terrible company to deal with ordered a number plate in November, 4 weeks went by heard nothing so chased it up for them to say it was a back log with dvla so I believed it, another week went by so I emailed again saying that it was a bought as a gift and how much longer was it going to take so they emailed back saying that they would get hold of dvla and see if they could fast track my order even though the plate I ordered was still up for sale on the dvla website so I rang dvla myself to see what was going on only to find out that the number plate wasn’t even ordered by this company and there was never a back log, sham artists!!!! Soon as I emailed stating this and saying I wanted a refund no reply so I had to contact my bank and get it back that way. Disgusting people

This is an update on our money owed to this company after 8 months of trying to get our money owed( £1500) for our private reg don’t be fooled by the pleasant helpful staff that keep telling you that is delayed by The DVLA as they kept telling us but when we rang the DVLA they told us it had been sold in the spring of this year, so please do not be taken in like we were as we did not want to sell our plate but we needed the money and so decided to go ahead, we are taking them to court but don’t hold out much chance of getting the money as when we told them we were doing this they seemed unconcerned, hope this helps somebody else. It would have been helpful to us if we had seen a lot of bad reviews which seem to be showing more now.
