First They Attract You With A Low Price, Then Afte

First they attract you with a low price, then after 2-3 weeks of signing the contract they charge you more starting from the first day you had the policy want it or not. And then to cancel they charge you even more! Run away!

Really I never be with them any more.

Lexham Asked Money For Puncture Fixing.

Hey guys, got my lexham insurance cover for my 125cc honda. I wake up in the morning I got flat tyre. Called them they came in 1hour. And the guy said itl cost me money to fix the puncture. By their terms and conditions, it supposed to be free. So I said fck off. Called my mate and fixed it ourself. and the worse part is. I payd extra for the breakdown.... And when the lexham complain people called me. At first they bin outrageous and very upset because I had to pay. After 3 different people called, the 4 person was a little smarter then the last 3. And apologised for it. And thats it. Nothing more. Just sorry. I paid money for waste of time and sorry. What the hell should do with sorry?

Nice Company To Deal With And A Nice Price!

I was struggling to insure my R1 as I had not had insurance for a few years. I had tried several companies and most of them didn't want to know and those that did were giving me silly quotes. I was speaking with my local bike dealer and they suggested I try Lexham. They looked after me and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying with them!

One Word Fantastic

Called in for a quote on my new Vespa/Piaggio Primavera, I was very impressed that I got through to someone straight away! The price was very competitive and the customer service was fantastic! They even emailed my Certificate to the bike shop that I purchased the bike from, so that I didn't have to do this myself. Overall very impressed with the service.

Ridiculously Expensive And Corrupt

My first 125cc was bought, and I was advised to go with Lexham from the shop that sold me it. Original premium was £790 ish (I found slightly cheaper but as this company was recommended thought id take the hit)

Wow I was wrong.

Had a claim. Won. Yet I don't get any NCB/NCD. Turns out it doesn't matter who is at fault, by simply having a claim on your file, regardless of fault, removes all NCB/NCD chances. Yes you read that correctly. If a drunk guy drives his car into your bike when you're not even on it, and you claim off HIS insurance and haven't cost Lexham a penny, they STILL remove your NCB's or don't let you get your first years NCB.

My mileage went over in the last month of the policy, and thought "don't want to risk being in an accident with false details of mileage estimation" so admitted I was over and just needed another 1000 miles. Turns out it's £1 a mile.

All in all, for a 125cc motorbike, my policy came to nearly £2000. Lost the capability of getting my first years NCB even though I wasn't at fault as declared by both insurers. Terrible service that took 9 months to deal with the claim, that was so straight forwardly not my fault it beggard belief how it took so long.

They say they specialise in 125 cc motorbikes. I can believe it too. If a 125cc costs £2000 for average mileage I daren't think what a 1000cc machine with average-high mileage policy would cost. £150k maybe?

But when you say about the claim it isn't to do with Lexham it is to do with the insurer not the broker? That's what I was made to believe with insurance. It also didn't cost me £1 a mile and I was covered for 10000 ? I found Lexhams service brilliant!

Take Your Money Quick Enough

Utter contempt for customer service. Staffed by kids who are clueless. Won't let a new bike be put on a policy unless £1000 fee is paid for an identical 125cc bike. Yes a grand you read that right. Pay an extra £20 and go with a broker who can insure you rather than them
