This sorry excuse of a company were instructed by a private car park company (Link parking) to collect an alleged PCN debt.

Even though I had documented evidence proving I paid the original car park fee - £3.20, BwLegal demanded a fee of £160!!!

Several threatening letters and emails later, they are still chasing this imaginary debt.

Despicable!

Edit. Since the last post, I've made an official complaint to BWLegal using thier own complaints procedure. If they don't respond or resolve the matter in eight weeks, I will raise it with the Financial ombudsman service and the S.R.A. Apparently this costs BWLegal £500ish to answer to the case.

Now if EVERYONE complains................ok
