Rubbish Customer Service

Bought a large item from Argos . When I got home I rang nectar customer service who helped me sign up to recieve points . I was told my points would be on within 24hrs . Many days later I rang back to be told to be patient . 4 times I been brushed off . Wonder if they keep the points for themselves. It's been months now and have given up . Customer service is shocking . I do not feel a valued customer at all yet they continue to send advertising emails ( train your staff properly ) the reviews on trust pilot people are saying thousands of points are disappearing from their accounts and they are not getting help . Complete waste of time talking to incompetent staff

Missing 14000 Nectar Points

Signed up to Sky last Sept (2023) with the promise of 14000 nectar points.

In a nutshell no nectar points have appeared. Have spoke to Nectar on numerous occasions over that six months and keep being told that they will raise the issue/escalate the issue and that its Skys fault as they never reply to any communication from Nectar to confirm me signing with them. Spoke to them again today to be told same thing and that they cannot do anything until Sky reply to nectar. Absolute joke.... do not sign up to anything where big points are prmised.

Customer Services What Customer Service

What a waste of time Nettie card customer services area. The first gent who could hardly put a sentence together in English could not understand the issue and so put the phone down. 15 mins later was connected to a lady who again could not speak English (why employ these people if the language is English who can’t fully speak it) she just kept saying there is not a problem when Sainsbury’s are saying there is.

Shambles utter shambles and frustrating

Customer Services Cost 50p A Minute To Call!

Spent over £1000 pounds when I did call them for my points customer services over confident and told me they don’t owe me points. When I called them back I was asked for debit/credit card number. Which I was told there not allowed to ask me for. On the phone on hold for over 10 minutes £50p a minute. Then told to go on chat services which took over 4 minutes to load up. Then was told to hand over copy of receipt with my debit card number on it. Then the chat service was not in service for around 15 min when it did go in reception was told to hold while they speak to manager when it was authorised. Was given points 3 months later as a Goodwill gesture. After spending over £7 on the phone and Data. And over 4 hours of my Time!

Call Centre A Waste Of Time And Money

I had my nectar card blocked, trying to get it unblocked was a nightmare there was so much background noise, I couldn't hear her they kept asking stupid security questions, and I still didn't get my card sorted. It was supposed to be a loyalty card I'm thinking of binning the cards if it isn't sorted soon and shop elsewhere.

Nectar Hotels

I've been trying to redeem points for a nectar hotel stay. It's proving impossible as the website freezes every time despite trying on four diffetent devices. I've contacted head office, live chat and help lines. No one is able to solve the problem. They are not interested and just ask the same questions in each email. I was promised a call back yesterday morning within the hour. I'm still waiting.

Nectar hotels are hopeless.

Customer Serv Absolutely Appalling, Impossible Recover Card

Had more than £20 pounds in points when my card was taken with other card, was impossible to recover it,custoemr service useless, they kept going round and round in circles having no clue how to help.

Picked up a new card, impossible to register online! chat online, useless, rude agent, couldn't help me again.

This is ridiculous and such a waste of time and money.

Worst Especience

I applied for a card, mainly because there are considerable discounts available for cardholders. Having applied, I was told I already had an account and was advised of my account number. Trying to log in I was informed I needed to register my account. When I tried to do this an email advised I needed to open an account! Over 90 minutes was spent using the Chat facility and despite following all the instructions (even though I had tried them before) and getting confirmation that all my details were correct it was still impossible to complete the registration. In the end, the agent disconnected the Chat.

This is the worst experience I have ever encountered with any account.

Not Worth It

I've been trying for several months now to gain access to my Nectar account and use the points built up but Nectar have decided I did not pass security on one of their questions - because I could not recall the date I applied for a Nectar account. Despite confirming lots of other far more relevant, important answers though. I do not use Sainsburys as regular now mainly due to this aggravation. Waste of time complaining through Sainsburys also, as I tried.

Call Centre

The call centre people are extremely incompetent! Very basic knowledge of the English language! They are extremely inefficient! They have no idea about problems solving! Extremely low IQ level! They have absolutely no idea of what they are doing! Much too long of a list of negative things to write so I will just say that the experience with them was terrible! Nectar should re-structure and start hiring people who competent!

Has anybody ever managed to redeem points on a nectar hotel stay? I certainly can't and have yet to find anyone in their help department that can.

Ko2015

I've been given a nectar card by my employer loaded with £50 worth of points - How do you register it? There's nowhere to enter online registration code - each time I try to register I end up getting a new card. I have used the card to get points as I was told you need to use before registering. I've contacted help line who are absolutely useless, so difficult to understand. They just say the card has no value as it hasn't been used for 12 months - so how does that answer my question? I've tried emailing but for security they wanted to know the store it's registered to - but it's not registered! Argh I just want to cry :-(

Sorry I can't help. This reflects the total pathetic nature of this so called reward system and is very similar to my own experience. They don't want to sort it on line in store or by help line. It plainly isn't fit for purpose and influences me greatly. I no longer shop where nectar points are offered if I can help it. Appalling service
