Marks and Spencer Loyalty Card

I have had a Sparks card since the very beginning and enjoyed the offers that came and it encouraged me to go into the store. Then I started not getting any offers whatsoever for over a year and a half or more. I spoke to a supervisor in the store and she stated my card was not working yet my purchases were an on line receipt.. I rang the call centre which is in Cape Town and the very polite people there are as much use as a chocolate fire guard.. They promise to sort it but nothing happens. Whe you email you get a generic email stating that sparks offers come from what you buy and are personalised and look out for offers. I decided to get another card on another email address and you get a £5 voucher off a £40 shop as a kick off then you get nothing even after many M&S shops and using your card each time. I really don't know what to do now.. I think dont bother but why should some people get offers and others none. A cashier at my store told me this is happening to alot of customers.

I have disliked this “loyalty” card from the outset as it doesn’t IMO incentivise shoppers to use it. What I want is to earn real money when I shop that I can use to offset future purchases. Additionally, I used the card today and didn’t receive the discounts loaded on the card. Instore Staff were useless at addressing the issue.

I have had a Sparks card from the outset, originally was worth having. Lots of offers on a regular basis, but lately nothing except odd freebie. Seems to be following Marks and Spencer ethos, which I find very insults my intelligence. We are told in press, prices are rising so they are increasing prices on food. The loaf I purchase increased from £1.50 to £1.75 over 5 days, I visit Liverpool store quite often on daily basis so am aware of increases. I now have spend more money on food shopping in Tesco, quite happy to pay for want I want but feel increases are taking the proverbial

Disgusting service from M&S credit card. I was charged interest on £800 I don't even own them!!! After so many calls I managed to speak to so called manager, even she could explain properly why! Please be careful, if possible don't use their card at all.

At last you are rewarding loyal customers so we get some treats from you. You have been a little behind other stores,so glad you have got up to date. Shall look forward to my first treat spend.

Bought m&s car insurance on my m&s card told I would get a 1000 points did not get

This is not just a credit card it is a credit card with a surprising number of benefits. Periodically OH!joy of joys you receive free tokens to put towards your next purchases in store and extra points on various departments from where you buy.

You can pay your monthly bill in store when doing your next shop and every now and then you have an invitation to a super session in one of their Flag Ship Stores which is always a treat.

Would like more notice when special sale days occur though, it is very galling to pay full price for an item and then find it well reduced the next day.

The hot drinks vouchers are a great idea but it would be even greater to be allowed a cold drink when the weather is hot. The staff on the shop floor are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I am also extremely impressed with the holiday insurance and its wide range of included medical conditions. Even in the older age group I can still find many styles in the Per Una range That I feel comfortable wearing.

Where oh! where do I try to WIN an iPad and receive exclusive loyalty points. I have tried every website under marksandspoencer.com/loyalty, and am slowly going MAD!
