Excellent Customer Service

I visited my recent Leicester store due to an on going issue with my bugaboo donkey and an argument I was having with bugaboo. The staff at mothercare were absolutely incredible. Thank they spent hours trying to resolve my issue with bugaboo and did everything they could to fix my problem. I cannot thank them enough! The customer service via email and in store was incredible and cannot be faulted. They have restored my faith in customer loyalty and will definitely be my first point of call for anything baby/child related. Thank you mothercare!!

Small Baby And Premature...found Some Clothes!!

I had premature twins and my son had IUGR and had small for gestational age he weighed 2lb9oz. Tiny I know... he was so small and the only place I could find preemie and small baby clothes (even though nothing for him correctly) was Mothercare the prices was reasonable and the quality was good. After washing the sleep suits etc; the condition remained the same for a while so my son got great wear out of it. I couldn’t really complain. Every store provides different ranges of clothes so I found a mother care store that provided what I needed not too far. Those sleep suits was my sons first sleep suit he ever wore. Big thumbs up to Mothercare. I think Mothercare should widen their range of small baby and premature clothing and products as this would be beneficial what would have been even better is some information on sizes for small babies and some extra information in booklets like they have anyway for newborn babies. Thankyou.

Premature Baby Clothes

Drove 25 miles to my closest Mothercare store to buy clothes for my small Granddaughter, only to find that they don't keep ANY premature clothes is stock. For a store that is solely for mothers and babies I think this is very poor. I was informed I could order online for 'next day' delivery. As this is Saturday this means Tuesday. It's no wonder the high street is dying. I prefer to see things in a store before I buy them. The online offering was also severely restricted.

Very Poor What They Call Customer "care"

Poor customer service with online shopping. Item advertised online and only to email me 4 days later my order has been cancelled with no further explanation, however, the money is pending from my account for 5 days already and I cannot use it. Customer "CARE" manager hiding behind staff-" being very busy". After 45 min on the phone, no compensation has been offered until I asked for it. They offer me their own brand Stroller, which I do not want for my child. The quality of Stokke and Mother care brand is not equal, and they are dictating what brank to use by offering their cheap product. Keep apologizing but no actions taken

We Ordered A Crib

We ordered a baby crib from Mothercare and let me tell you, if time is money and you value your time do not order anything from Mothercare. This has to be the worst co. I have ever dealt with. So the crib was scheduled to be delivered on Friday 8th of December by Yodel. I received a text telling me the package was on route. A few hours later I receive a text to say package was delivered to no. 53. This is what happened thereafter.... Yodel rang the buzzer, my wife answers the intercom and the driver confirms he is from Yodel here to deliver a package. She buzzes him in and waits with the front door open. 5 minutes have passed and no delivery she’s 8 months pregnant and decides to back into the lounge. I return home from work a few hours later to learn no delivery and according to Yodel the package delivered to no. 53. That’s strange as 53 is a vacant flat. So I decide to investigate and to my surprise I find the package outside the building in the rain. I rang both Yodel and Mothercare and to date I am waiting for a refund. Poor service from both companies. I was promised a call back from Mothercare within 24hours it has been 72 hours and no response.

Your so right, I had the same done to me. Saying they came to my house but didn't find anyone after I have taken a unpaid leave from work. But the funny things is I received my order from Hermes at the same time the yodel driver said he was there 14:28. And the customer services are like termites eaten away the company. So sad to service a service from such a company never had this problem with John Lewis.

Will Never Use Again

I ordered from Mothercare for my first time recently and it will be my last. Most of the items I ordered were never received... I waited over a month to receive two out of four of them... the other two were cancelled but Mothercare never bothered to inform me of this. No reply received from their customer services team when I contacted them. Awful, avoid at all costs.

Dishonest.

Not only do they force you to pay £10 for delivery, they then don't deliver the product. Add on to that the deceitful way they try and absolve themselves of responsibility and you soon discover that this business is no better than the most underhanded sham artists regularly paraded on watchdog. The only difference is they have a glossy finish to them. Avoid this company.

PS. the customer service department (a term I use in the loosest possible sense) are a joke. Clearly populated by some of the nations most intellectually challenged. Whatever small amount they are paid it is way too much.

Mothercare Really Dont Care At All.

Text stated delivery had been made. Both my husband and I were home. No card was put through the door. Nothing was outside and none of my neighbours had taken anything in. Could not get through to yodel so contacted retailer Mothercare I was told someone had signed for it but they could not give me the address. Parcel turned up two days later opened and left on my driveway. Still waiting for explanation. Apparently Mothercare are doing an investigation which was supposed to take 48 hours. As you can probably guess this has passed and as yet they have not offered any information. It seems to me that as they as far as they were concerned a text had confirmed delivery even if the customer was not in receipt therefore their job done.

They should have been chasing the delivery company straight away requesting where the parcel had gone to i.e an address not just a name. Ridiculous situation. At least put my mind at rest by saying that they are responsible not leading me to believe I could be out of pocket.

Avoid This Store Poor Customer Service

Staff very rude poor service , will never use this store again , ordered on line , got text to say was ready for collection ,staff too lazy to look for item ,said its not here ! & could not have cared less , it was there I was informed later it was closing time & they didn't won't to find it avoid this store dreadful manager at Doncaster store York road .
