Sea-Band for travel sickness

I should not have relied on SeaBand wristbands but should have instead taken tablets to prevent seasickness. I read the instructions and was careful to have the "button" placed on the correct point. Less than one hour into a ferry journey in January 2014 I vomited twice although I did not walk around the ship or consume any alcohol. Tablets have always prevented me from vomiting before, despite feeling ill and preferring to sit still and not walk around the ship. In addition to taking the tablets, I find it is better not to eat or drink before travelling on a ferry!

I am 9 weeks pregnant with twins & my 'morning' sickness has been awful since week 5. I have basically felt nauseous on & off all day. Also being sick approximately once a day. After 7 years of trying for a baby I thought I'd be on cloud 9 but the sickness was seriously taking its toll. I begged my hubby to look on line for tips or anything that would help. Although I was following dietary tips it had no benefit. He found the Seaband website & ordered a pair immediately. Thinking they were a bit of a gimmick but worth a go for the bargain price they are. I received them when I got home from work & put them straight on. Within an hour I felt so sprightly & the nausea was subsiding. I decided to keep them all all night & when I awoke I was waiting for that dreaded feeling, like you've been binge drinking, but nothing. Usually I had to have a cup of tea & a banana before I even got up (which hubby brought me to bed before he won't to work). So I got up & just couldn't believe I felt like me again. Did all my usually jobs around the house & then had my brekkie like I used to. From then on I've not felt the nausea. Maybe a little when things turn my stomach but its rare now.

I even feel I have more energy as surely

feeling like that zapps you. The bands are so comfy & although not discreet well worth the questions of what are they for? Thank you for these ingenious little bands. Maybe now I can start to enjoy my pregnancy. The only thing that scares me is that I don't feel pregnant now which is a little unnerving but so typical as a woman lol. I would recommend them to everyone x Abigail

I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and about a week and a half ago my morning sickness started. I couldn't keep anything down, I lost 7 pounds in this short amount of time because I could not consume anything without it coming right back up. I couldn't even drive in a car for long without having to pull over and puke my guts out on the side of the road. This truley made me very frustrated and had me crying everyday because I was starving myself. It was not a pleasant feeling at all. Finally I read about sea bands and I was very skeptical at first but I've tried almost everything! This is the ONLY thing that has gotten rid of my morning sickness completely! A few minutes after I put it on my nausea stopped and I got the chance to actually eat food:) I loveeee sea bands!! They saved my sanity!

Sea-Bands are a drug-free way of reliving nausea, travel and morning sickness and they worked. They work by applying continuous pressure by way of a plastic stud on an acupressure point between the two central tendons on the wrist.

I suffer from sea sickness and used them recently on a boat trip, I am very impressed with the Sea-bands and will be keeping hold of them for more boat trips in the future

When you have a child who gets travel sick, it can make any journey seem endless, but since discovering Sea-Band bands the worry has gone, they are safe to use and work by using acupressure. You can put them on before or as you are travelling. Not only do they work for travel sickness, but morning sickness as well. So we were really impressed by them.

We used these as my eldest son suffers badly from car sickness and nausea on long journeys. He has found that wearing the bands regularly gives him significant relief from the nausea. He is also happier to use the bands than he is to take tablets.

He liked the camouflage effect on the bands and felt they were trendy enough to wear but he did say he would have liked them more if they were linked to popular music. How you do that, I have no idea.

Having suffered badly with nausea during my pregnancy I discovered Seabands. They made the sick feeling considerably better almost straight away and I loved the fact that they are a natural remedy.

I have also used Seabands for travel sickness relief for my children in the car and they love the coloured 'bracelets'. They are easy to fit and have a diagram with the packet to help.

Compared to having to take tablets to help with nausea I think Seaband are a easy to use and more natural alternative and would recommend to anyone - don't suffer with sick feelings try Seabands!

The Sea-Band really works well, turned my daughters car journeys from constantly being sick to no episodes at all. Amazing

I have suffered with travel sickness since I was a child, on long journeys. Unusually this sometimes happens even when I am the driver. Using these bands has helped me to ease my sickness when I am the passenger in the car (even when sitting in the back) and I haven't felt sick when being the driver either. I've had them for around six months now so they have had a fairly good trial period!

Both my son (3) and daughter (6) suffer with travel sickness too and so I brought further bands for them. We have been on three long car journeys with neither of them being sick.

My sister wore a set during her early pregnancy and found her morning sickness was eased which I think is a great benefit to any pregnancy.
