Little Scallywags Day Nursery, Birmingham

As part of my college course i started my placement at little scallywags in the pre school room.From the very first day i started i knew this was going to be a valuable experience due to the friendly staff,open space and range of resources provided.Staff were very friendly and welcoming.Finally the needs of children are always met and most of the children were always happy and keen to come into nursery from my point of view....Asha Bibi X

My daughter loves this nursery and the people that work there. They treat her with kindness and affection whilst maintaining their role ad carers/teachers. The staff are always polite and seem to take a genuine interest in my daughters life. I dont have any negatives and will be sending my other children there when they reach the appropriate age. She obviously learns whist she is there but also has fun and learns how to share, play nicely and listen to the teachers which i think are some of the most important skills for someone of her age group. Overall an excellent nursery.

my son has been attending this nursery for over 12 months now and he is a changed little boy from his speech and development to the social side of it and its thank you to the girls that work there.

he loves going in to nursery every day and adores the staff.

the staff are loving and considerate to the all children as far as "overly affectionate" goes i have never heard so much rubbish in my life children need love and affection as well as education and as long as my son keeps getting both i have no issues what so ever.

there hasn't been day within the 12 months my son has been there that the nursery manager or deputy manager has not been there.

he does something new every day the menu is always different enabling my son to try new things, they even take the children out and not alot of nurseries do that anymore. Managment and owners aswell as the staff have invested alot of time, hard work and effort to make sure the nursery is a safe ,warm and loving place for there children and i couldnt be happier with the way my son is growing and developing xx

My little boy has attended this nursery since the age of 6 months old and has now moved on to school, i there fore have experience of the nursery under both owners. I sent my child there after viewing many nurseries in the area and found this one to be the best and instantly knew i wanted my child to go there. When the nursery was sold it was a concern for me but soon became apparent that the new owners only had one vision and interest, and that was to improve the nursery for the children and have done nothing but invest in the nursery to provide what is now a modern, spacious, welcoming, loving and safe envoironment. I find the first two comments about this nursery totally incorrect and most defintaly not a true representaion of the Nursery, Management and The Girls that work there. They are all very caring and loving and my child adores them, we still pop back to see his friends and the staff. I have recommended this nursery to two close friends and there children now attend they too have nothing but praise for this establishment. Great nursery which has given my child the best start in life i could ask for.

I would like to totally disagree with the two comments above. As a parent of a child who is currently in toddler room I have nothing but praise for the nursery.

My daughter has been at the nursery full time for eleven months now, in which time there has not been one day where management have not been on site.

The nursery has a lovely atmosphere, which you can sense when you first walk in and staff are always lovely and friendly.

I regulary see my childs development book and am looking forward to a parents evening due next week.

A lovely child orientated place, my daughter is extremely happy at the nursery and I feel very confident leaving her there.
