I Tried This Out For The First Time This Past Week
I tried this out for the first time this past weekend and I personally like it. It doesnt look fake on my skin and I had a lot of compliments.
Dont Believe The Hype!
I purchased this recently after reading good things about it on the internet and having seen several tv adverts. I paid £14.50 for it as unfortunately I missed the special offer period at Boots where it was only £9.50, but thought it would be worth the money (I was wrong!!)
You have to apply this to wet skin in the shower, leave for 3 mins then wash off. Sounds easy but is more difficult than it sounds, especially as once I had applied it I found that the lotion 'ran' due to my skin being wet and I was concerned about streaks. Standing in the shower for 3 mins, cold and damp isnt really that fun!
I used this 3 days in a row and was disappointed to see very little difference. I then used it a week later for 2 days in a row and again, no difference! To say I am disappointed is an understatement!
I was concerned I was doing it wrong so I looked up the St Tropez video online and there was nothing wrong with my application technique.
I dont really think this is worth the money as although it sounds easier in principle, I have already used nearly a whole tube, so it doesnt last long.
The only good thing about it is that is only has a slight smell and you can get dressed straight after using it, but due to the fact that I experienced no change in colour these points seem almost unnecessary.
I'll be going back to my Fake Bake tanner I think, which is a 100 times better than this! Waste of money. I wouldnt recommend to anyone.
