Ordered some sewing accessories 3 weeks ago. have phoned Sewing Machine Direct twice just to be notified that its in the post. Don't understand I was overcharged for the postage as I found later that most of the other sewing companies its free postage.

By the by, still waiting for foot, I doubt if I get it but lets just nope I am wrong.

Faulty SMD machine delivered still waiting for the machine to be collected.

2 weeks is ample time for someone to collect and repair.

I ordered a janome 3000 walking foot, after charging me postage, 3 weeks later i am still waiting.

Whist looking for a new sewing machine I found Sewing Machine Direct on the web. I spoke with a staff member who was pleasant and knowledgeable and after discussing what I wanted from the machine I decided to purchase the Janome 3000SMD. It arrived the next day and I was kept informed via txt regarding the delivery times.

This is the first time I have owned a full sized machine and to say that I am thrilled with the machine, the service and advice given is an understatement.

The machine is quiet and a dream to use.

Before I ordered my Janome 525s I did a lot of searching on the web for a reliable company to make my purchase from and came across Sewing Machines Direct.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone at SMD for their fantastic service. SMD were recommended to me by my sewing class tutor and so was their SMD2000. I love my SMD2000, so easy to use. I ordered my machine after 3pm and it was delivered the next day. The couriers were great as they sent me a text with a 1 hour slot and they were spot on. I even received a package filled with coloured threads, scissors and bobbins etc, this will save me from going to the shop to buy any threads for a while. Thank you for a great buying service from start to end.
