I had this Cata Integrated Fridge Freezer when I moved into my current house, it has never kept the milk or items in the fridge cold and the freezer froze up very quickly, where I had to defrost it every 2 weeks it became so bad. The last straw came 2 days before Christmas where this appliance packed up altogether leaving all my frozen food completely mushy and not any good and the food in the fridge had gone off as they were not being kept at the right temperature. This has cost me lots of money and I am not at all happy, as I have had to bin most of my Christmas food. I have re ordered a different brand appliance I can trust now, and would not advise anyone to purchase this make and model.

A Little Expensive
Nice fridge freezer but a little expensive compared with other cheaper makes. I’m reasonably happy with it though.

Do Not Buy Cata - Bad Quality & Useless Service
In 2 years the integrated Cata Fridge Freezer that was put in my in fitted kitchen has broken 4 times. This meant I have lost the food in my freezer 4 times at some cost and getting engineers and service centre was an uphill battle. Instead of just replacing they insisted on failing to repair this.
Just steer clear of this crappy brand and choose a more trusted manufacturer or you'll be sorry!

Along with my CATA Gas Hob & Fridge Freezer I purchased thru B&Q with my new kitchen...
My Freezer is faulty for the second time in less than 2 yrs. Initially the interior light packed up & now the freezer has. It works just as a Fridge atm....
Again I have has 0800 Repair in to detect the fault & he fan in the upper most part of the freezer has completely frozen up & broken the motor.
Due to the design concept of the appliance running, all I can perceive is that if it was repaired that the same fault will happen again within 2 yrs as it is not powerful enough to evaporate the build up of moisture in the unit.
I have reinforced that this appliance is not suitable for purpose & insist by law I want it replacing as it has not lasted 6 yrs....
They are insisting on a repair only!!!!
Any further suggestions anyone?
Maybe you're lucky you've got it fixed at all. They came out to look at ours for 10 seconds (after 11 months of having it), lied to our faces about the installation voiding warranty, then left. The thing they said was wrong with the installation, ventilation issues, wasn't incorrect and it actually has over the recommended minimum space for ventilation. So it isn't void, they're just liars trying to cheat people out of money for their worthless piles of junk they call appliances.
