Excellent Frypan
Excellent frypan for cooking food. I recently bought the Breville Thermal Pro Stainless Steel Frypan and am very happy with my purchase. It cooks food evenly and has a 25-year warranty on the base. Good quality appliance, except it, is quite heavy. My meals are very delicious now.

Unusual Dud From Breville
I can honestly say that I have no beef with Breville; I have several of their products which I have owned and loved for several years now - unfortunately this is not one of them.
This brown coloured, glass lidded Breville Electric Frying Pan was given to us as a wedding gift. I was not too fond of the look of it, as it didn't really go with my kitchen colour scheme, and it was simply not as fast as cooking on the stove with gas. So it enjoyed very little use for most of the time we had it.
I brought it out of semi retirement when my stove packed it in - by that time I had only used it two or three times and was still in mint condition. For 2 weeks we used it to cook breakfast - it was then that I realised just how difficult the round switch was to use - it was stiff and hard to turn to the correct setting. Getting the temperature just right was almost impossible - you would just get it right and then the thermostat would turn the element off. If you turned the selection wheel up to the next heat setting, you would burn whatever you have on the inside.
It was like cooking with an electric shower - you can just never find that sweet spot.
The last straw was when the non-stick coating bubbled and melted into the egg I was frying. It went into the bin as soon as it was cool enough.
Breville has a lot of great products - I have a Breville kettle and toaster and coffee maker, but I will never again buy a Breville frying pan.
