Logik LBMFMX15 Oven

If you like takeaway food, then this is the oven for you. After the third time the oven went off, in the space of two months with the same fault, I asked curry's to give me a replacement, let me just describe their customer service team as difficult to deal with and deliberately unhelpful. The oven is currently not working (fourth time) I have probably spent more money on take away than the oven cost and have started proceedings to recover my money.

Looks good and easy to use. Large oven which is great and comes with oven racks which is even better. Dials push in flush to the body of the oven carcass. Plenty of functions. Easy clean enamel inside. The temp gauge is a bit hiss and miss though. I love the idea of being able to set the timer for cooking the next day if I wanted. Does what it says on the tin.

Whilst we liked the design and appearance of the good sized oven, with its knobs which push in flush, in the end we returned it. The digital display is tiny and unclear from a few feet away. Setting the minute minder is fiddly and time consuming. The beep is so high pitched it was completely off our hearing range (I am age 69)! Also it seems you couldn't easily monitor how the minute minder time was passing...although we found a way of doing this.

The oven fan was noisy and set up a virbration which 'pulsed' and was very irritating.

The grill setting simply would not do toast. It just dried out the bread.

For a serious cook, the oven temperature settings are completely inadequate. There were no detailed gradations, say every 5degC.....it was hit and miss.

When the fan noise could not be put right, it was taken back by Currys.

Disappointing.
