Lacanche Macon

Absolutely perfect after sales service. I booked in my 12 year old Lacanche for its first service (my fault, never got round to it and it was working perfectly). The engineer arrived promptly, carried out all necessary works and didn’t go looking for issues that might have required extra parts. Throughout he explained to me how the cooker works and how to get even more from it. He was amazing. The cooker is now working even better than it was before and has many, many more years left in it.

We had our 6 yr old range cooker serviced last week. The guy was spot on. Nothing too much trouble. Explained elements of self maintenance which was really useful, and had I wanted I could have stayed and watched what he did. Couldn’t fault the service. Very impressed

I have a dual-fuel Macon, which is now 5 years old. It had been a joy to use from day one. The dual-fuel gives flexibility, and is really useful if, like us, you suffer from regular power cuts. The central gas wok burner that I chose as part of my hob configuration is useful for stir fries, and also for making jams etc, when a large pan needs to be kept at a rolling boil. I do like the fact that there is no extraneous "stuff", such as clocks, timers etc - less to go wrong. I had it serviced recently, and the service engineer was friendly, informative and very tidy. I have not regretted for a moment the original purchase price, worth every penny.

It took a lot of research to find the right range for our kitchen upgrade. We needed a new range , but one that would look like it had always been a part of our old farmhouse kitchen. The Lacanche Macon was the one. The 8 months lead time was a bit daunting at first but true to their word the scheduled date was kept and the local agents arranged and conducted the installation perfectly. We have now lived with our Lacanche for over a year and absolutely love it. We went pure electric and its hob is quick, clean and easy to use. Its ovens and grill likewise. It really does look like it has always been in the house. Can’t fault it at all. So, if you are prepared to wait we thoroughly recommend that you do.

After 16 years of owning our Lacanche Macon Range Cooker we had a service call from a Lacanche engineer to sort out some worn hinges on our doors. The guy was very polite, on-time, thorough with his work and gave great advice regarding how to keep the hinges running as smooth as possible and even gave us tips on how to keep the cooker looking great while making cleaning easier. All in all a 5 star experience. Many thanks and we will no doubt be using you again should we encounter a problem in the next 20 years.

My faithful much loved 10year old Macon, has never had a problem but developed a problem with its fan oven.

I contacted Lacanche customer services, who organised an engineer to call and assess the problem.

I live on Anglesey so was surprised how quickly an appointment could be arranged.

The engineer contacted me 30 minutes before his arrival time. He was super efficient, gave the oven a thorough service and diagnosed the problem. He carried the necessary part and fixed it, there and then.

You couldn’t ask for better.

I recently had excellent service from a Lacanche engineer, who was highly knowledgeable and very personable, and he not only fixed the problem with my 700 wide Lacanche Cormatin, but gave me a great deal of information about my cooker and how to care for it. I was so pleased to have my oven working again, after several years of its being broken. I cannot recommend the 'premier service' more highly. In addition, the quality of the cooker itself is outstanding. It's now 18 years' old and still in excellent condition. A fantastic investment. The build quality is excellent and it will (with care), last many more years.

We have owned our Lacanche Macon for 6 months now. We originally ordered it back in October 2021 and due to the nature of these ranges being handmade it was not ready until May 2022 so please keep the lead time in mind if you are thinking of purchasing one.

We have the 2 fan oven model (plus grill), and the single grill / static oven. For hobs we went with the LPG gas burners. On the Macon you get 5 gas burners, ranging from small to large for your woks and bigger pots.

Extremely pleased with our Lacanche cooker. It is the centre piece of our kitchen and anyone who comes to visit immediately comments on it.

We also found the service team to be more than helpful, from our initial phone conversation through to the engineer, everyone was professional, extremely polite and knowledgable.

When the service engineer arrived at our house he was polite and friendly, and left the area where he had been working spotlessly clean.

What I also appreciated was the engineer took the time to explain to us how to best use the different features of the range and best look after it to protect our investment.

Really delighted with our Lacanche and look forward to many more years of happy cooking.

I have had my Lacanche for 18 years and still love it. Had no problems at all - used daily and has been a great family cooker. Still looks beautiful after all these years.

A delight to cook on. Fast and powerful but great control as well.
